【GWR Weekly Harvest Report】August onward salt-pickled positions cleared. Believing is power.(2026/9/28-10/2)
Thank you for always viewing GWR (Golden Wheat Reaper) weekly reports. I am Komugi, a part-time investor and developer.
This week I report the realized results in the FX FinEst Real account and the account status at the end of the week. The short positions, which had been held long since late August while accumulating negative swaps, reached a full liquidation at this week's pullback, and the entire account finally became light again.
Realized Profit and Loss: +13,558 yen
Weekly win rate: 60.87% (28 wins / 18 losses)
Profit Factor (PF): 1.26
Maximum Drawdown: 0.59% (47,143 yen)
Account Balance: 7,986,241 yen
Equity Margin: 7,986,471 yen
Number of Open Positions: 4 positions (buy positions only)
Unrealized Profit/Loss: +230 yen
Excess Margin: 7,907,472 yen (Maintenance margin around 10,109%; account cushion about 99%)
【Cutting the Shadow of Overlapping Swaps: AUD/CAD Range Reversion and Lump Sum Recovery】
This week's AUD/CAD movement ranged from the high near 0.995 in the early week to around 0.985 toward mid-week, showing a strong 100 pips drop and range reversion. With both Australia and Canada as resource-based currencies, the dynamics were evenly matched, and the heaviness of the upper level near parity (1.000) prompted a downside move.
What is notable in this phase is the behavior of the short position group held since late August, totaling 10 lots, which had accumulated daily negative swaps. As the market sank to around 0.986, the core positions held deepest—0.83 lot, 0.59 lot, etc.—produced large positive settlements, fully absorbing the accumulated negative swaps (about 82,000 yen) and the initial adverse position losses, completing a total positive, all-at-once close.
At the same time, in the downturn, Line 0 and Line 2 picked up buys within the 0.984–0.992 range, and as the rebound occurred, profits of about 200 yen to 2,000 yen were steadily accumulated. With positions that were on the verge of being salted away now cleanly resolved, the maintenance margin returned to an extremely healthy state with over 10,000%.
【Relief After Overcoming the Peak of Work, and a Foldable Bicycle Stowed in the Car】
This week I faced a small peak in my main job as well. During the day I had no time to monitor the market on a computer or smartphone, yet even a busy daytime, GWR quietly managed orders and settlements in the background.
With the peak behind me and the weekend at hand, I can finally breathe deeply. Next week I expect to be able to take a weekday vacation. If the weather is good, I plan to load the foldable bicycle I bought as a new hobby into the trunk of the car and enjoy solo camping in quiet nature.
If I were the old self who manual-traded, seeing the negative swap display since August would have made me grip my smartphone with a stomach ache at work, and I wouldn’t have been able to plan a holiday. Because the exit of positions is pre-programmed from the start, no matter how volatile the market, I can protect my main job and weekend margins with a heartfelt emphasis on balance.
【Pain Without an Exit and Self-Destructive Psychology: Why Do Systems Escape Unhesitatingly?】
The essence of a part-time trader ruining themselves with unrealized losses is not weak mental state. It is that one’s mind wears down in the darkness of not knowing how this pain will end, with no clear exit.
In the past, on a night when 860,000 yen vanished from a position I entered by chance, I stiffened my index finger and could not close manually, leading to my exit. When losses are converted into real money and impact daily life, humans lose logical judgment completely. That is why GWR implements an exit strategy that completely eliminates emotional interference.
Currently, seeking even greater robustness, I am rechecking CanOpenNewLine (anti-duplication mechanism) and experimenting again with the parameter behavior of an emergency exit mode (chicken take-profit) according to position depth. By physically blocking excessive clustering of positions in a narrow price range and, in case of an abnormal trend, discarding the desire for +4.0 pips and exiting the market even with a small positive gain, this subtraction mindset forms the ultimate defense to protect the 8 million yen live account.Rather than forcing myself to win in the market, I entrust myself to a system designed to simply survive. I will continue to stay humble, conducting objective verification and advancing with a real account.
