[Gold Canon Large Update] The sign "doesn't move even 1 millimeter," panels enter an era where you can see them at "net" income
Hello, this is FX Logic Institute.
Gold-only sign tool “Gold Canon” has received its biggest update yet. The sign indicator isv1.20, and the semi-automatic EA isv1.06.
This time the theme is one thing.
To make what you see on the chart and what actually happens align as much as possible.
Setting aside the detailed mechanisms, I’ll talk about what has changed from the user's perspective.
① The signals truly no longer “move”
If you’ve used a sign tool before, you might have experienced something like this.
“When I looked yesterday, there was an arrow here, but when I checked today, it disappeared…”
This is the so-called “repaint.” Signs that are rewritten to suit later circumstances look neat, but they cannot be used for verification or for objective testing.
Gold Canon has always promoted no repaint from the start. This time we’re taking that commitment one step further with real seriousness.
The new Gold Canon saves every sign it outputs as a “record.”
Buy arrows, average-number of averaging downs, and the close marks are all recorded at the moment they appear, by price. Even if MT5 restarts, the connection is cut, or you reopen the settings, they will always return to the recorded locations.
As an image, there is a record-keeper with a ballpoint pen that cannot be erased once written, beside the chart.
Furthermore, signals during periods when the chart wasn’t opened are calculated with the exact same judgment as if they were moving in real time.
The discrepancy of “looks clean on past charts but differs in real-time” has been greatly reduced.
② The panel numbers now appear as “net” gains
The performance panel at the top-left of the chart has been reborn significantly.
Previously, the panel was, so to speak, “nominal salary.” The new panel shows“net gains”.
- Spread (costs incurred with every buy and sell)
- Trading fees
- Swaps (costs for holding a long gold position)
These costs aresubtracted from profit and loss, and results are displayed after deduction. The win/loss judgment is also made after deducting costs.
Additionally, two new figures can be seen:
- Maximum drawdown: how much the account was reduced at the worst period
- Maximum unrealized loss: how much one had to endure at most while holding a position
Even looking at win rate alone doesn’t reveal true ability.
Seeing “how much one had to endure at the hardest moment” allows you to determine whether you can trade with your own funds.
?After the update, the panel numbers may appear more conservative than before.
That doesn’t mean the tool got weaker;the numbers have become closer to reality.
“Numbers you can trust” rather than “inflated numbers.” The Institute chooses this option.
③ Averaging (nampin) has become “smarter”
Gold Canon is designed to accumulate profit by averaging down during pullbacks and aiming for overall gains.
The scariest thing about this method is grabbing a falling knife many times.
So, three “waits” have been added to using averaging down.
- Do not buy more immediately after entry
Even if you buy more at nearly the same price right after entry, the average price doesn’t improve and risk just increases. We wait a little. - Only buy more after it properly drops in price
Buy more only when the price falls to a level where the average price clearly improves. - Do not add more when the major trend has broken
If the higher timeframe trend turns downward, further averaging is not added.
All of these are less about “increasing wins” and more about “snipping the seeds of big losses.”
These three can be turned ON/OFF in the settings. Compare performance panels with old and new settings to verify for yourself.
④ Signals and semi-automatic EA have become a single integrated unit
The semi-automatic EA “Semi Linked” has also greatly improved usability.
- Only one place for lot size setting
If the sign side determines the lot, the EA automatically uses the same lot. The mismatch where the panel calculates 0.01 but the EA runs 0.05 no longer occurs. - MAIN and SAFE are automatically aligned
The EA automatically follows the sign's mode. - Does not turn OFF on its own
The issue where the EA stayed stopped while you were changing sign settings has been eliminated. Now it goes to “Paused” and automatically resumes when signs return. Changing RUN ON/OFF is just your button press. - You can fix missed trades yourself
If a trade is missed due to communication issues, the EA will notice and readjust to align with the chart’s sign. - No double orders after restart
Even if MT5 restarts, it will not place two orders for the same sign.
The chart signs are the canonical ones, and the EA faithfully follows them.
We’ve solidified this relationship more firmly than ever.
⑤ Other improvements
- Fixed a phenomenon where the close mark could appear away from the candle sometimes
- If the chart timeframe and sign settings don’t match, a clear warning is shown
- Towards the end of the Friday week close, we have avoided opening new positions
- Comprehensive revision of the product manual (Second Edition)
How to update
- Download the latest file from your GoGoJyun member page.
- Replace both signs and the semi-automatic EA(Replacing only one won’t work).
- Reattach to the chart.
Right after updating, for one time only, past signs are redrawn with the new logic, so display may take a little longer. Thereafter, it will be faster as it only reads records.
For detailed settings, please refer to the new product manual (Second Edition).
In closing
This update is less about flashy new features and more aboutrebuilding to be a tool you can trustto use.
The sign visible on the chart will be in the same place tomorrow as well.
The panel numbers align closely with your account.
The EA moves according to the chart’s signs.
It may sound obvious, but there are few tools that truly commit to this level.
Let the rules be handled by the machine, while the final judgment remains in your hands.
We look forward to your continued use of Gold Canon.
