[9/28 Dollar-Yen Scalping Points]
Good work everyone! Now let's do Dollar-Yen scalping again tonight!
First, a summary of the Tokyo session today.
Currently, the USD/JPY is around 157.55. The pair started at around 157.20 in the morning, but during the Tokyo session it rose to around 157.85 toward the trigger level at the M-시장 value, though as the overseas session approached, there was a tendency to sell a little.
Following last week’s move back up to the 159 range, there were frantic USD/JPY yen-weakening remarks from both sides, but if there are no rate checks or actual currency interventions, it seems likely to recover to the 158 range. Will there be new yen-weakening remarks afterward? Let’s keep an eye on it.
USD/JPY is expected to drop about 35 pips from the morning level as it hands over to the overseas session.
Now, the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping (my memo).
● Movements around the 16:00 London market open
● Movements around the 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)

Other notes..
・There will be a speech by U.S. Fed Vice Chair Lael Bowman at 21:15
・There will be a speech by ECB President Christine Lagarde at 23:00
・There will be a speech by U.S. Fed Governor Michelle Bowman at 26:25
・Be careful of yen-weakening remarks from the U.S. and Japan; watch headlines related to the Strait of Hormuz

Tonight’s “1-minute chart scalping strategy” will rely on the movements around the London and New York market opens since there are no highly anticipated U.S. indicators or events. For users of the “1-minute Scalping Club,” handling according to the theory should be fine. There may also be new yen-weakening remarks.
Also, if you aim for short positions with the “15-minute scalping strategy,” wait for a slight pullback to around 157.80–157.90 or lower before following downward.
Now the overseas session will start shortly!
Also,I was invited to give an interview about “scalping” by Gogojan at my office after traveling a long way. I spoke a little, so please watch it when you have time.
My thumbnail is the only one with me in person, which is a bit embarrassing.. (lol)https://www.gogojungle.co.jp/finance/navi/articles/124690
Scalping tends to look like there are constant 24-hour opportunities because the potential profit per trade is small, but that is not the case. Targeting periods with relatively high volatility can significantly reduce the difficulty of trading.
The time periods I target are around the London market open and around the New York market open.
• London market open time (UTC: 16:00 in US daylight time / 17:00 in US standard time)
• New York market open time (UTC: 22:00 in US daylight time / 23:00 in US standard time)
Even right after the release of U.S. indicators and events, volatility rises and opportunities increase. However, in the first few minutes after the release, spreads may widen, so it is essential to enter only after returning to the normal spread.
Please always check the U.S. indicators and event schedule in advance. Understanding the times when opportunities arise will help you accumulate profits efficiently.
Also, absolutely avoid positioning just before U.S. indicators and events. If you go against it, you will suffer. Loss-cutting lines can be reached in an instant. Careless mistakes are not allowed, absolutely not.
U.S. indicator and event schedules can be checked on the websites of each securities company or FX broker.
Of course, there are many other points beyond the three above, but I’ve talked about the minimum points you should keep in mind when scalping USD/JPY.
