9/27 This Week's USD/JPY What is the Algorithm Looking At?
Yesterday we held the 3rd SMC study session for students during a live broadcast.
As the number of participants increases with each session, I’m genuinely happy about it.
The good thing about live streaming is that you can ask questions on the spot.
That interaction also enhances other students’ learning, and their skills keep rising.
Yesterday, we mainly explained entry logic for short-term moves, including methods and cautions, using actual charts.
It’s a method to pinpoint buying on dips and selling on rallies.
Wanting to truly aim for professionalism, I’m also responding to each person’s edits every day.

Well, one week has ended.
What kind of market will we see at the start of next week?
This time, I will analyze USD/JPY.
Currently, on the daily chart, there is a downtrend.
With the white line as the boundary, once it enters the upper region, the algorithm begins to look for where to sell.
The lower region is where it searches for buying.
In a trend-following approach generally called “going with the trend,” you would also enter buy positions in this upper region.
However, the algorithm is the opposite and is aiming to sell.
By waiting with a perspective opposite to individual investors, it places sell orders to trigger stop losses.
From the current position, we’ll see whether it rises to 157.8.
Will this be a point to sell on rallies?
We’ll look for this on lower time frames.
If it rises without meeting the conditions, I expect it to move up toward around 159.0.
Similarly, we’ll search for selling opportunities on lower time frames here.
In short, it will be a process of identifying selling conditions from a bearish perspective.
Of course, if it enters the buying zone, we’ll create a scenario imagining how far it will fall.
Currently, because it’s in a downtrend, it’s not easy to enter long.
The scenario is to aim for a rebound once it has fallen enough.
