[10-Second Trade] Points for September 17 — narrowly captured
USDJPY 15-minute chart
We narrowly got stopped out.
When you see trades like this, you might think, “Wouldn’t it be better to widen the stop a bit more?”, but
if you widen the stop, of course the target for risk-reward of 1 will also move farther away.
When the profit target becomes farther away, there is also a possibility of not reaching it and a reversal.
In other words, widening the stop to reduce the chance of a loss is in a trade-off with not reaching the target.
Technically, the stop is when you break the most recent ZigZag, but “how much you break through to make it a stop” can be adjusted with parameters.
10-second trading!
