Up to here, we have explained Dow Theory, multi-timeframe, N-wave, and even stop-loss. This time, we willintegrate them into a single practical flow. Even if you know each method, if you don’t know the order in which to use them, you cannot apply them in practice.

That order is“Environmental awareness → Scenario → Entry”. This order is the backbone of trading. This time, we will carefully explain this three-step flow.

Step 1: Environmental Awareness

Everything starts withenvironmental awareness. This is the most important step, which has been consistently conveyed from the series’ outset.

Look at higher timeframes, judge whether the current trend is up or down, or whether there is no sense of direction based on Dow Theory. Confirm the direction of multiple timeframes in a multi-timeframe view. This allows you to accurately grasp “the current market situation.” Before entering, first grasp the overall battlefield. This is the first step.

The conclusion of environmental awareness should be simple: “Higher timeframes are in an uptrend. Therefore, we only aim to buy.” This clear directionization becomes the foundation for the next step. If this is ambiguous, everything afterward will wobble.

Step 2: Scenario

Once environmental awareness is done, next isto lay out a scenario.A scenario is a pre-plan of how things might move and what you will do if that happens.

“Because it’s an uptrend, wait for a pullback. If the pullback does not break this low and rebounds, buy. The target is this high. If the pullback breaks this low, the uptrend is broken, so don’t buy.” In this way, you determine in advance the potential developments and how you will respond to each.Before entering, anticipate multiple possible developments and decide how to respond to each.

The biggest benefit of having a scenario isyou can move according to plan rather than reacting emotionally when the market moves. If you have beforehand decided “If this happens, do this,” you can calmly respond when that moment arrives. Trading without a scenario is trading driven by the moment and emotions.

Step 3: Entry

And when the conditions decided in the scenario are met,you enter.As explained previously, entry is the result of the conditions aligning. In the plan, the decision to “buy” is realized when those conditions actually align.

At this stage, there is no hesitation. The direction was set in environmental awareness, the conditions were set in the scenario, so you just verify that those conditions are satisfied and execute mechanically. The stop-loss is also placed where the scenario dictates, i.e., if the low is broken. Entry is merely the final execution of this sequence.

Following the order is discipline

What’s important isto absolutely follow this order. Many people have this order reversed. They find a place to enter first and then retrofit justification (environmental awareness) afterward. This becomes an interpretation that suits wishful thinking and leads to losses.

What is correct is environmental awareness first, entry last. Objectively grasp the situation, lay out a scenario, and enter when the conditions align. By following this order, you can trade with discipline free from emotions and desires. Merely following the order is discipline itself.
