2026/9/12 Dollar/yen, gold, SP500, and Nikkei 225 environment
For verification purposes, we provide a weekly video of the USD/JPY price movement.
USD/JPY
WeeklyThe long-term trend has not broken, but the 상승 trend from April 2025 has ended, and the rise has cooled. In the near term, the area where the next support (green horizontal line) and the trend line (green diagonal line) overlap is likely to be strongly watched. If it rebounds here, the range will stay flat; if it breaks, the next target would be around 140.
Daily and 4-hourBecause big levels tend to attract attention, it seems better to be mindful of them.
Gold
WeeklyWith concern about a decline in currency value, in the long term gold is expected to rise.
Daily and 4-hourRecent highs and lows on the 4-hour chart have become notable levels, so both upside and downside breaks are in focus. In the near term, there is no clear directional bias yet. A range-bound movement may continue.
S&P 500
WeeklyHaving exceeded the recent highs, the uptrend is continuing. Culturally, it tends to attract buying.
Daily and 4-hourIt has pulled back after breaking the daily uptrend line. In the near term, downward movement is more likely than upward. A continuing decline trend line breakout could lead to a dragging sideways movement.
WeeklyThe uptrend continues, but it is unclear whether it will rise rapidly to the upper limit of 80,000 in the near term.
Daily and 4-hourIt seems likely to aim for the daily high, but there is no clear direction in the near term. It may stay in a corrective phase.
