[Important apology and correction] EA time restrictions are based on the "MT4 server time"!

Regarding the article titled "BIGBANG's Golden Time (9:00–11:00 AM)" that I published the other day, we received extremely valuable feedback from EA users, and I discovered a serious oversight in my own understanding.

The EA parameter settings introduced in the article (StartTime=09:00 / EndTime=11:00) will not operate in the intended Japan Standard Time (JST) if entered as is.

All EA parameters are processed based on the MT4 server time.

In common overseas configurations and Rakuten MT4 (DST GMT+3), MT4 time "09:00" corresponds to Japan time "15:00 (initial movement in European time).

In other words, if set as-is, it will start operating from the afternoon market with many traps, unintentionally.


◆ Correct parameter settings (for a GMT+3 broker with DST)

Please enter the value minus 6 hours from Japan time.


【If you want it to operate from 09:00 to 11:00 JST】

  1. StartTime=03:00
  2. EndTime=05:00

※ When switching to winter time (GMT+2), it will be minus 7 hours (02:00–04:00).
