To survive
When trading FX, what stands out again is
that emotional control might be more difficult than the method. That’s what I mean.
When you’re winning,
“I could take a little more.”
“Today I’m in good rhythm.”
“Let me enter one more time.”
and the mood tends to swell.
Conversely, when you’re losing,
“I want to make back for it.”
“I want to win next time.”
“If I enter here, I might recover.”
and the impatience starts to rise.
But even in these moments, don’t forget your初心 (beginner’s mindset).
What I have always valued is
surviving in the market no matter what.
You don’t have to enter hastily or forcefully.
Even if today there isn’t a chance, there will be another chance tomorrow in the market.
As long as you have capital left,
you can take another shot when the shape you’re good at appears.
So from now on, I’ll record videos both when I’m winning and when I’m losing, and reflect on what I was thinking at that moment.
Three things I want to check every time.
Am I not rushing?
Am I trying to regain losses?
Is this really the form I’m good at?
Eliminating emotions is difficult.
That’s why,
even when emotions move, I will not change the rules.
And I will return to初心 every time.
Don’t rush. Survive. Wait only for your own form.
In the end, I think those who can continue doing this are the ones who stay in the market for a long time.
