[9/9 USD/JPY Scalping Points]
Thanks for your hard work! Alright, let's do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo time overview.
Currently USD/JPY is around the 153.35 level. This morning it started around 153.95, but during Tokyo session after 9:00 Japan time it dipped to around 153.25 (today's Tokyo low), then briefly recovered to the mid-153s, but has again moved lower to test the lows.
I have a hunch that if you readily push sales around the upper-153s, you might get caught (this is just my personal view...).
From the morning level, USD/JPY seems likely to hand over to the overseas session with about a 60-pip drop.
Now, here are tonight’s USD/JPY scalping points (my personal notes).
● Movements around 16:00 London market open
● Movements around 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)

Other notes…
・No major US indicators/events today
・Be wary of headlines related to Middle East tensions

For tonight’s “1-minute chart scalping strategy,” since there are no highly anticipated US indicators or events, it will likely be a matter of trading around each market open. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” handling it according to the theory should be fine. Volatility in USD/JPY has increased quite a bit, so make sure not to neglect stop settings.
Also, if you’re aiming to short with the “15-minute scalping strategy,” wait for a small rebound and look to sell around 153.70–153.80 or below, then chase lower. Be careful not to chase too aggressively.
Now, we’ll soon begin in overseas time!
Scalping often gives the impression that there are 24-hour opportunities because the profit margins are small, but that’s not the case. By targeting periods with sufficiently high volatility, you can significantly lower the difficulty of trading.
The times I target are around the London market open and around the New York market open.
・London market open time (16:00 during US daylight time / 17:00 during US standard time)
・New York market open time (22:00 during US daylight time / 23:00 during US standard time)
Volatility and opportunities remain high right after US indicators/events are released. However, in the minutes immediately after the release, spreads can widen, so the rule is to enter only after the spread returns to normal.
Please always check the US indicators/events schedule beforehand. Knowing when opportunities will come helps you accumulate profits efficiently.
Also, absolutely avoid positioning right before US indicators/events releases. If you go against it, you’ll be unable to see the shock. You can be taken to the stop loss in an instant. Careless mistakes are not allowed, absolutely not.
US indicators/events schedules can be checked on the websites of each brokerage/FX service provider.
Of course there are other points besides the three above, but I’ve shared the minimum points to keep in mind when scalping USD/JPY.

Actually, one of my trading methods, “15-minute chart scalping,” is completely openly available. I hope it will be helpful, even a little (completely free of charge).
