Who is Leo? I will write about everything about me
FX I started because I wanted to quit my company.
I lost over 3 million yen, and now in my ninth year I became a tool developer.
Discretionary trader / L-signal, automated trading development / Free community "Leo FX college" management
Nice to meet you. I am a FX trader,Leo.
I have been trading FX for nine years now. While continuing discretionary trading, I am putting effort into developing signal tools and automated trading.
Most of my work involves charts or a computer, so I am currentlyalmost like a recluse (laughs).
How I became a FX trader
Originally I worked in the automotive industry.
However, I didn’t particularly love cars. I didn’t feel a strong sense of purpose in work, and I only had one thing in mind.
That said, quitting a company on impulse wouldn’t cover my living expenses. I needed to create income sources beyond being an employee to change my environment.
So, while browsing the internet, I happened to come across FX.
At first I thought, “If I can do this, maybe I can,” and decided to give it a try with a light attitude.
Of course, it wasn’t a sweet world at all.
I started with no knowledge or experience and lost money many times.
Still, I didn’t want to end here.
Up until then, my academic record and sports were both average. In my life, I didn’t have something I could say I worked hardest on or that I could proudly boast about.
That’s why I decided not to give up on FX and to keep going until I succeeded.
In hindsight, it wasn’t a lifestyle I would recommend.
Nevertheless, at that time I focused almost all my time outside of work on FX, aiming to live by trading after quitting the company.
By accumulating verification and practice, I eventually surpassed my salary as a company employee with trading income and left the job.
From there, I moved forward into the path of becoming a professional trader.
Why did I create a signal tool?
As I wrapped up my discretionary trading, I began looking for something meaningful to pursue next.
Among them, I considered automating the analyses and judgments I had been making into signal tools or EAs.
If trading could be reproduced as a system, I could reduce the time glued to charts and create a more自由 environment. With that in mind, I tried every signal tool and EA on the market.
Of course, not every product I purchased was bad.
However, I often couldn’t find something that matched my preferred operating policy or that I could convince myself to keep using.
So I changed my approach.
From here, I mapped my trading methods and verification results into a logic and began developing signal tools and automated trading.
What kind of products am I aiming to create?
What I aim for is a product that centers on my own trading skills, preserves capital, and steadily accumulates gains.
In the FX industry today, there is a tendency to chase large profits or flashy returns.
However, behind aiming to double capital in a short period lies the risk of material losses corresponding to it.
What is most important for us traders?
If capital disappears, you can’t conduct further trades or verifications. If you trade while ignoring the possibility of capital loss, I believe you cannot continue investing as such.
This isn’t just a pretty saying; I learned this from painful experiences of losing capital many times in the past.
Therefore, first preserve capital, then steadily accumulate profits. This is the fundamental concept of my current product development.
Of course, I do not intend to deny strategic gambling trades with limited losses. If there is demand for such products, I may develop them separately with clear purpose and risk apart from my usual products.
Products I have actually created
L-signal is an MT4 signal tool dedicated to EUR/USD.
Based on the trend-following approach I have used in actual trading, it captures ranges, pullbacks, reversals, big tops and bottoms using five types of signals.
When a signal is found, it does not enter unconditionally right away.
I confirm the signal and set take profit and stop loss based on recent highs and lows. I pass on situations with poor risk-reward. This is the basic rule.

Past testing from 2018 to 2025 showed positive annual profits.
However, on a monthly basis there are negative months too. It is not a tool that guarantees profit every month in all market conditions.
We publish not only favorable figures but also verification data, the points traded, and where signals actually occur.
Additionally, we provide a free past verification kit that lets you practice with past charts from 2004 to 2025 across three timeframes.
The above results apply the same conditions to past data and do not guarantee future profits. In actual trading, results may differ due to spreads, fill prices, trading environments, and other factors.
What I want to build next
Signal tool
Signal tool
Automated trading
In the future, I plan to develop signal tools and automated trading that can be used for currency pairs other than EUR/USD.
However, I will not create products just to increase the number of listings.
I will not list items for which verification hasn’t caught up or which I don’t truly want to use myself.
Therefore, product releases from other developers may be slower.
Still, I hope to deliver something I truly want to use, along with convincing verification results. I’d be grateful if you could patiently look forward to it.
Genuine tools, to you.
My motto in product development is
“Would I want to use it myself?”.
I will deliver things that I personally believe are excellent to those who need them.
There may be parts I don’t realize or explain sufficiently.
