Read 41 reviews and summarize 10 questions you should confirm before buying
My own product has no reviews at all.
As of August 2026, there wasn’t a single one. Since it’s not selling, naturally I can’t learn “what buyers are troubled by” from my own product.
Therefore, I decided to read public reviews on other people’s products.
What I read
On June 23, 2026, I retrieved 63 public review pages from GogoJungle. After removing duplicates with the same product ID, title, and body,41were used as the対象.
Below isthe result of classifying those 41 reviews by keywords. A single review is counted under multiple themes.
And there is one important caveat. This is not a count of low ratings. It also includes people who wrote improvement requests after giving high ratings. You cannot read “13 of the 41 were dissatisfied.”
What was mentioned
| Theme | Mentions | What buyers found troublesome |
| Financial capacity, unrealized losses, holdings | 13 | Needed more funds than expected / unrealized losses lasted longer / positions increased at once |
| Explanations, settings, features | 8 | No basis for default values / missing necessary features / leaving setting judgments to customers |
| Discrepancy between actual operation and displayed results | 7 | Did not move as back-tested or explained / collapsed with market changes |
| Environmental differences & compatibility for implementation | 5 | Behavior changes across broker, account, demo, and setup environments |
| Monitoring burden | 3 | Cannot leave it unattended; needs initial position and human intervention judgment |
| Support | few | No responses to questions, unable to implement or fix issues |
| AI display | few | Difference between the name AI and actual functions is not explained |
Among the 41 reviews I checked, this is a limited-number figure. It does not represent the overall market trend.
What surprised me the most while reading
The most common issue was not dissatisfaction with performance. It was about funds, unrealized losses, and holdings
In short, “funds required were more than expected,” “unrealized losses lasted longer,” and “positions increased when I wasn’t expecting it.”
This isn’t a story of losing. The gap between expectations and reality is what was described.
The next most common category, eight items under "Explanations, settings, features," shared the same nature. No justification for default values. No basis to judge how to set things.
In other words, things that could have been prevented if checked before purchase accounted for a large share
Two with small numbers but big impact
Although “Support” and “AI display” had relatively few mentions, the way they were described was heavy and significant.
Support means, buyers cannot move forward if there is no response. Once you stumble during implementation, the product cannot be used. The experience stops regardless of price.
AI display cited the lack of explanation for the gap between the name and actual functions. As someone who uses AI in development myself, I cannot write about this dispassionately.“Using AI” and “what AI is actually deciding” are separate issues; if you don’t write about the latter, buyers cannot verify it.
There are actually prepared ways to verify
The official help for MetaTrader 5 guides pre-purchase demos, forward testing, order execution delays, real ticks, fees, and account-condition reproducibility.
The tools are there. What’s missing isa list of what to verify, I thought.
What I did
After finishing the 41 reviews, I added to my product materials estimates for funds, expected unrealized-loss duration, maximum holdings, and basis for settings. Not to sell more, but so that I wouldn’t receive the same questions later.Because I didn’t want to be asked the same things again.
And while reading, I summarized the verification items into ten.
This is not a list to doubt the seller. It is a list to ask before buying to get answers you can rely on. If you receive answers, it itself helps you judge.
About the continuation of this article
From here, I set aside those ten questions. For each item I added one line explaining “why you should ask this.” You can use them as direct questions to the seller.
It’s free, but you need to apply.
