The reason you lose in FX is not the number of entries. The reason I prioritize "omission" is ...
When I first started FX,
“Where should I enter to win?”
That’s all I kept thinking about.
I would open the chart and look for an entry point.
If it moved a little, I’d want to enter.
If I lost, I’d search for the next opportunity.
But even repeating this didn’t give me stability.
So I changed my thinking.
Not “where can I win?” but
“Where is it least likely to lose?”
And one more thing.
“Where should I sit out?”
I began considering this.
FX is not just about the entry technique
When studying FX,
you tend to focus on entry methods like
“Buy when this pattern forms”
“Sell when this level is breached”
Of course, entry methods are important.
But I believe just as important is
“do nothing when conditions are bad.”
For example, even if your preferred pattern appears,
the higher time frame direction may be wrong.
there might be a strong line nearby.
the position of the moving average could be unfavorable.
the candlestick reaction could be weak.
If all these conditions coincide,
you should not enter just because a pattern appeared.
This is also a valid trading decision.
