It isn’t over once you make something. You verify. You find problems. You improve. You check again. That repetition is what builds quality.

That way of thinking gradually took shape inside me. But there was one problem. As what I made increased, the things I had to remember also increased.

01At first, I could manage it all just in my head

At first, I was only making one indicator. I tried this condition. This value didn’t work. This currency was good. It was weak in this time frame. In such cases, I could remember it to some extent in my head.

However, as I continued testing, the things I dealt with multiplied. Currencies, timeframes, logic, settings, revisions, backtests, forwards, Excel, CSV, analysis results, improvement history. What started as one thing gradually branched out.

Was this the latest version? Was this setting adopted? With which conditions did this number produce that result? What did I change last time? How many years of data did I test? My past self expected I could remember everything. But that was impossible.
