"If you gain experience you’ll become able to win" This is half a lie
“If you gain experience, you’ll start winning.” This is half a lie. Even if you repeat the same loss 100 times, that’s not experience, it’s just a loss. I used to be someone who had the number of entries up to par but whose balance kept decreasing, but once I realized one thing, my financial results changed dramatically.
A loss becomes experience only after you review it. When I was losing, what I did the day after the loss wasn’t reflection, but looking for the next method. If you move on without reconciling the reasons for the loss, your criteria for judgment will never be updated or improved. That’s why you never get better. But a trader who becomes able to win turns 100 losses into 100 improvements. Someone who just feels frustrated by losses and keeps changing their method will never catch up. First, lay out your last 10 trades, and from there think about how you should have proceeded next, an improvement plan. It’s better to start by seriously facing this kind of thing.
