To be honest. It took me eight years to become capable of teaching trading skills to others.
When I started FX, I thought, "If I just have good tools, I will win." Enter when there are signals. Cut losses by instinct. Take profits when I think "that's enough." Looking back now, nothing was actually a rule. Still, I continued trading, believing that next time it would go well.

The turning point was finding a "model"
What changed was the insistence on defining entry, take profit, and stop loss as three rules. "Enter at this timing," "Take profits if it extends this far," "Give up if this is exceeded"—I repeated the process of verbalizing this not as a feeling but as a reproducible form.
It may sound simple, but this was truly difficult. The market shows a different face every day. A rule that worked yesterday may not function today. Each time I introduced an exception, the rule collapsed, and I wandered back to feel-based trading—that was the cycle.
Yet I could continue because I was convinced that "if the form is decided, it can be reproduced." Just like coding as a programmer,When the correct conditions are in place, the same result will always come out. I persisted in defining the market at that level through trial and error.
Why I started making tools
As the form began to solidify, I began to consider implementing that form as a tool. I would translate what I was manually doing into indicators and EAs, increase decision accuracy, and further boost reproducibility. That is the starting point as a FX engineer.
