[FX Psychology] The reason you can’t win is because your subconscious desires it?
Hello, I am oukanoakari (All-Mighty) ✨ FX trading, thank you for your hard work every day ☕️
Are you currently trading and struggling with such concerns?
“I have to follow the rules, but I keep getting into position after position…”, “I understand it in my head, but I can’t cut losses and end up praying for a trade…”, “In the end, I can’t break out of the holy grail search…”
I understand it so well. In fact, I myself have fallen into the exact same pit in the past?
Especially, I have a tendency to be “perfectionistic” in strange ways. I didn’t want to admit that my entry was wrong, and I delayed cutting losses, losing a lot of money… I’ve had bitter experiences like that many times?
Then, I came across a YouTube video. (It was a video about business and the subconscious)
Watching today’s video, I deeply connected with how the thoughts and trading philosophy I’ve valued since long ago were perfectly verbalized✨
Today, I’d like to share with you how to apply the “wisdom of manifesting desires” learned from this video to our main battlefield, FX.
It’s a bit deep, but I’m sure it will be a hint for everyone’s trading.
■ 1. Why can’t I win? The traps of the subconscious and “carnivalization” ?
There was a striking phrase in the video.
“The reality you feel is what your subconscious has achieved.”
If you translate this to FX, doesn’t it resonate deeply?
On the explicit level (in your head), everyone wishes to “win in FX and become rich,” right? But if you’re not winning now… your subconscious might be longing for something else.
For example, ・unconsciously seeking the thrill of gambling (a casino feel) ・wanting to enter immediately to feel like you’re working hard
Your subconscious feels the current thrilling losses as somewhat pleasant, and that reality is drawing you in?
The reason FX becomes a casino isn’t the method but this misalignment of consciousness.
■ 2. The real reason losses are slowed (merits and demerits) ⚖️
In the video, a practice was introduced to remove mental brakes by self-questioning the merits and demerits.
I applied this to my greatest weakness—delayed losses due to perfectionism.
・What are the merits of not cutting losses? ➡“I can avoid locking in a loss,” “If price returns, I can prove my analysis was correct”
・What are the demerits of cutting losses? ➡“I have to admit my failure,” “My perfect trade is damaged”
…Do you understand?
My subconscious prioritized protecting my pride (perfectionism) over protecting precious capital!
“I don’t want to get hurt from failure.” The subconscious, to protect me, desperately delayed cutting losses. When I realized this, I got goosebumps.
■ 3. Do not rely on forced positive thinking. Master the power of waiting with gratitude ⏳
Some people forcibly tell themselves, “I am a trader who will win!”, but this is actually counterproductive
What’s important is not to villainize the mental block, but to“thank you for protecting my pride until now. But it’s okay now.”and release it with gratitude?
If you can do this, the most important skill in FX will bloom.
Yes, the overwhelming ability to wait.
Currently, I monitor 28 currency pairs plus gold, totaling 29 currencies, and mainly day trade on the 4-hour chart. Trading on the 4-hour chart is truly about “waiting.” Subjectively, about 99% is waiting time ☕️笑
When I enter unnecessarily, it’s always due to the hurry to “make money soon!” or the unconscious noise of “it’s boring.”
But when you express gratitude for the subconscious block and align with yourself, the impatience mysteriously vanishes. And you can wait naturally for opportunities that come according to your own rules, like breathing ✨
■ To traders who face the market with integrity ?
Why am I sharing this mindset today?
Because I myself have broken my mental state many times and have been battered by the market, and I truly want to “increase traders who face the market honestly and do not turn it into a casino.”and I’m serious about it?
Chasing “holy grail” solutions—techniques or signal tools—should end, don’t you think?
The market is a mirror reflecting your own mind. Only those who dialogue well with their subconscious, calm their minds, and wait with overwhelming patience will earn the right to survive.
■ In closing ?
How was it? Today’s talk was a bit mind-centered, but I’d be thrilled if your chart perspective could change even a little from tomorrow! ✨
I, oukanoakari, will continue to share a real trading philosophy of “overwhelmingly waiting and facing the market honestly.”
