Notify before touching. A "preview" feature that many tools had not delivered
Introduction
Last time, we talked about why we chose Solagergi automatic drawing as the first product. This time, we will delve into a particular aspect we were especially particular about among the features actually implemented.
Delivering not only the “touch” but even the moment before
Alerts that notify when a price touches a line are not rare. However, when you think about actual usage scenarios, even if you notice at the moment of contact, the response can already be late.
So we included the “Break Proximity Alert.” From the side that has not yet broken the line, when it approaches the set distance (pips), it notifies you a little early that it “seems about to break soon.” Many tools deliver touch notifications, but we didn’t often see ones that deliver even the “pre-notice” before the break in the range we typically check. This feature is off by default and can be turned on for those who need it.
Also a design to “narrow down” notifications
More notifications aren’t always better. When prices move in small increments near the same line, numerous notifications become annoying. Therefore, touch/break detection notifications are limited to once per single candlestick. When the candlestick changes, detection occurs again.
Also, immediately after economic indicators’ releases, spreads can widen temporarily. During this period, we have prepared a setting to temporarily suspend the touch/break proximity judgments (default off). This is to prevent false positives like “I was notified even though it didn’t actually touch.”
Quiet LINE notifications late at night
Keeping in mind voices saying they wake up to LINE notification sounds while sleeping, we implemented a “quiet time” setting that stops LINE notifications only during late night (default 23:00–07:00, default off). Popups, sounds, and push notifications operate as usual, so detection remains when you’re in front of a computer, but notifications to your smartphone can stay quiet.

Next time, we will discuss the mechanism of LINE notifications themselves and the design of “Shared EA,” which will be applicable to products we release in the future.
