【8/7 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Thanks for your hard work! Now, let's do Dollar/Yen scalping again tonight!
First, the overview of Tokyo time today.
Currently, the USD/JPY is around 158.35. This morning it started around 158.50, but during Tokyo time it moved without a clear direction in the high range of last night's New York time.
Last night, as expectations for the Strait of Hormuz's release faded and following hawkish remarks from Fed Chair Powell, the level around 158, which had been restricting the upside, was broken, and the yen weakened to the mid-158s.
With the U.S. employment data due tonight, movements until the release may be cautious, but there may still be room for upside. We look forward to the movement after the release.
Also today, close monitoring for possible follow-up intervention is especially vigilant. Given the condition of the weekend for the U.S. employment report... it seems likely. I want to ride the follow-up moves and be a bit enthusiastic, so I’ll monitor a bit longer (laugh).
The USD/JPY is likely to hand over to the overseas session at roughly the morning levels.
Now, the points for tonight's USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements around the London market open
● Movements after the U.S. employment data release at 21:30
● Movements around the New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)

Other notes…
・Be cautious of headlines related to U.S.-Japan coordinated intervention
・Be cautious of headlines related to Middle East tensions

Tonight's "1-minute chart scalping" will target movements around each market open and the movements after the 21:30 U.S. employment data release. For users of the "1-minute scalping club," if you handle it according to the theory, there should be no problem. Also, it would be nice if the chart shows some follow-up intervention (wishful thinking).
Also, the "15-minute chart scalping," which is a short-selling specialty, has a defensive feel due to potential intervention, but the fundamental trend is dollar buying and yen selling, so there is no need to force positions. Tonight, I plan to focus safely on "1-minute scalping."
Now, overseas trading is about to start!
Scalping tends to be perceived as having small profit margins and constant 24-hour opportunities, but that's not the case. By targeting certain periods with higher volatility, you can significantly reduce the difficulty of trading.
The time frames I target are around the London market open and around the New York market open.
・London market open time (16:00 around US daylight saving time / 17:00 around US standard time)
・New York market open time (22:00 around US daylight saving time / 23:00 around US standard time)
Even immediately after U.S. indicators/events are released, volatility increases and opportunities arise. However, in the first few minutes after the release, spreads can widen, so the rule is to enter only after they return to normal spreads.
Always check the U.S. indicators/event schedule in advance on the websites of brokers and FX firms. By knowing the time window when opportunities will come, you can efficiently build profits.
Also, absolutely avoid positioning just before U.S. indicators/events. If you go against the trend, you won't be able to help your eyes. You can be taken to the stop-loss line in an instant. Careless mistakes are not allowed, absolutely.
U.S. indicators/events schedules can be checked on the websites of each securities/FX firm.
Of course there are many other points besides the three above, but I have explained the essential points you should at least grasp when scalping USD/JPY.
