Are you creating a channel you aren’t sure is correct, and not entering with your own wishes included?
Since I started FX, I have always had a question.
“Is this channel really correct?”
Channels are a convenient analysis method, but even on the same chart, people draw them in different places.
Some say it will “rebound,”
some say it will “break out.”
Even in the same market, the answers differ from person to person.
I myself would draw a conveniently favorable channel,
“It should rebound this time.”
“This place shouldn’t break.”
I would overlay such hopes onto the chart and repeated failures occurred again and again.
Then I thought to myself.
“Instead of people fitting into channels, could we automatically create channels by rules?”
Furthermore,
not only drawing channels,
“Did similar channels exist in the past?”
“At that time, did it rebound or did it break out?”
If we understood that much, wouldn’t we be able to trade with more solid justification than now?
That thought marked the beginning of my development.
