Regarding the sale price of EA
Thank you for your continued support. This is Dr. Neko.
Occasionally, customers ask
“Why are you selling this EA at such a low price?”
Indeed, compared to other developers' EAs,
my EAs tend to be priced a bit lower.
In fact, there is a reason for this low price,
and one of them is that
“low price is also part of the service.”
EAs, by nature,
cannot be guaranteed for the future,
so I consider that, taking into account certain risks,
compared to the product’s performance,
setting a “slightly lower price”
is what I personally think is good.
However, if the price is too low,
it won’t be a healthy business,
so I aim for a balance—not too high and not too low.
And another reason is that
I am a full-time programmer,
and can spend time to create many EAs,
so even if each product is inexpensive,
selling many units at a small profit allows me to
secure sufficient profit.
In this regard,
for developers who work part-time on development,
this can be a bit difficult.
(You need to cover development costs with a smaller number of products...)
For my part,
I receive payment from customers who purchase new EAs,
or through my blog when customers buy EAs there,
and
at the same time,
I feel that I am receiving support for my development work
through that revenue.
Therefore,
I am grateful for this support,
and I will continue to leverage my experience to
provide better EAs, closer to the Holy Grail,
and to give back more to users than the amount they paid.
I will strive to deliver more value than the price paid. m(_ _)m
