Nice to meet you, my name is Tonochi
Nice to meet you, my name is Tonochi. This time, as a first post on Investment Navigator+, I will give you a self-introduction. I will write in detail so that those considering purchasing my EA can learn as much as possible about who I am!
Trading History and Results
- Discretionary trading history: 18 years; EA trading history: excluding休養 periods, 6 years.
- Additionally, slot machine history: 21 years.
- Discretionary trading results:No winning years
- EA trading results:More profitable than discretionary trading even after turning losses into gains
- Slot results:I am able to live thanks to slots
That's about how it goes. Here is the progression for each.
First, Slots
First, with slots, I learned about the existence of expectation value in slots that initially I wasn’t winning, and I started winning.
Big Losses in Discretionary Trading
Next, I tried discretionary trading but did not do well and incurred large losses.
Because of small differences in environments, I could not fully realize my method’s expected value, and I traded with an unstable mindset for a long time, which felt incredibly uncomfortable.
Meeting EA — QUICK SHIFT
While spending days worrying about discretionary trading, I learned that there is something called an EA, and I decided to investigate further. Websites that deal with EAs showed past performance, and the graphs of profits and losses looked like a slot’s slump graph, so I thought I could gauge something close to an expected value, which raised my excitement.
And there I met the EA called QUICK SHIFT.
Even now, it was a wonderful EA with a small loss and big profit. Thanks to QUICK SHIFT, I was able to turn the overall discretionary trading results into a profit. Now I just had to wait for profits to snowball!
Just as I thought that, I received the notice that QUICK SHIFT would stop being sold! Why? The reason remains a mystery to this day.
Back to Discretionary Research — Seven Difficult Years
I wondered how to handle the funds that had floating in the air, and foolishly decided to relearn discretionary trading.
This time I decided not to invest large funds until I could win solidly, and I studied carefully. In the meantime, profits and losses fluctuated, drawing a profit/loss chart similar to setting 2 in slots.
From the start of the research to seven long years of hardship... I finally learned one fact!
Impossible! It’s impossible to generate an expected value! Impossible to invest funds where the expected value isn’t clear!!This is what I understood.
One reason I couldn’t generate an expected value was that the method I researched relied on as few indicators as possible, i.e., line trading. However, the beautiful regularities within charts and the life lessons I encountered during that period unquestionably had a tremendous impact on my life. (I plan to write more about this era in the future)
During the research, I repeatedly tried to turn this method into an EA and to generate an expected value, learning programming myself and even paying for EA creator tools. Yet reproducing every detail was still difficult, so the only option was to try alternative methods. Even so, I found that a simple re-creation could yield a positive expected value, so I kept an eye out for the right moment…
With AI’s Evolution, Finally That Moment Arrives
And finally that moment arrived... AI evolution made it possible for the AI to understand and analyze methods from chart images and TradingView charts.
The last time I tried, even if I had code written, compilation errors prevented progress, which was discouraging, but this time I cleared it in one shot.
Searching past data became instantaneous. The expected value could be determined reliably.
Truly wonderful!
Now and the Future
Right now I am in the stage of turning the knowledge accumulated over these 18 years into tangible things, and the first release, 510, is currently under submission review. After that, a portfolio-type EA with even higher stability based on backtests will also be released.
Please look forward to it!
Thank you for sticking with me up to here.
Future updates will have AI handle the EA explanations and research announcements, while I will be responsible for past trading experiences and any EA descriptions I especially want to convey.
I appreciate your continued support.
