[Verification Result] Othello-style hedging FX yields a daily total of +42.8 pips! Looking back on actual trades
Everyone, at first“Will it really turn around?”was half in doubt (laugh).
When you actually entered USD/JPY, at first it moved against you and the unrealized losses increased, but you maintained the hedged position according to the Othello-style thinking.
Later, as you followed the signals and closed positions, the losing side was solidly covered by the profitable side, and in the end it ended in the profit.
Normally you would have cut losses and ended there, so I think you would genuinely be surprised, thinking, “There is this way of thinking too.”
Not trading based on emotions is a huge improvement.
Because it’s a hedged position, the profit per trade isn’t that large, butit suits people who like a style of repeatedly accumulating profits, I think.
Personally, you can see how to turn losses into profits, so it feels a bit different from ordinary averaging down or hedged positions.

This time entry was during London hours for USD/JPY.
At first it moved about 5 pips in the opposite direction, but we followed the Othello hedging rules. Afterwards, as the market reversed, we selectively closed the profitable positions.
The final result was many trades continuing, totaling +42.8 pips for the day.
There were times when the unrealized loss appeared temporarily, but by not panicking and managing according to the rules, I was finally able to end in the positive.
This method feels more about gradually building small profits with risk management, rather than aiming for big wins each time.
The results vary with market conditions, but the ability to stay less influenced by emotions is a major advantage, I think.
