【7/28 Dollar-Yen Scalp Points】
Good work today! Alright, let’s go with a dollar-yen scalp tonight as well!
First, here is today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently, the dollar-yen is around 163.75. This morning it started around 163.70, but during Tokyo time it moved with a slight dollar-buying and yen-selling trend due to reports on the reduction of the consumption tax on food and the uncertainty surrounding U.S.-Iran negotiations.
The dollar-yen is likely to hand over to overseas time at about the same level as the morning.
From today for two days, the U.S. FOMC is starting, and with the policy decision due tomorrow, we hope to see some volatility driven by expectations. By the way, the Bank of Japan meeting is also on the agenda this weekend.
Today as well, there is no change in the dollar-yen downtrend; I think it’s fine to pick up the mysterious spikes in small increments.
Now, here are tonight’s dollar-yen scalping points.
● Movements around the London market open around 16:00
● Movements around the New York market open around 22:00 (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movements after the release of the U.S. Consumer Confidence Index at 23:00
—–
Other notes…
・FOMC policy rate announcement tomorrow
・Be careful with headlines related to Middle East tensions
・Be careful with headlines related to government and BoJ interventions

Tonight's "1-minute chart scalping" focuses not only on moves near market openings but also on the 23:00 release of the U.S. Consumer Confidence Index; that may be the target. For users of the "1-minute scalping club," handling according to theory should be fine. Also, respond to the mysterious spikes with long positions in small increments as before.
Also, the short-only "15-minute scalping" begins today for two days with the U.S. FOMC; if there is movement driven by expectations, it should go up, so it’s not a situation to force a position. Tonight I’ll focus firmly on the "1-minute scalping."
So, thank you for your continued support tonight as well!
Scalping aims for small profit margins, so it’s easy to assume there are 24-hour opportunities, but that’s not the case. By aiming for times with relatively high volatility, you can significantly reduce the difficulty of trading.
The time I target is around the London market open and around the New York market open.
・London market open time (16:00 US daylight time / 17:00 during US standard time)
・New York market open time (22:00 US daylight time / 23:00 US standard time)
Volatility remains high and opportunities arise right after U.S. indicators and events are announced. However, in the minutes immediately after the announcement, spreads can widen, so the rule is to enter only after they return to normal spreads.
Always check the U.S. indicators and events schedule in advance. Knowing the time periods when opportunities come around allows you to build profits efficiently.
Also, absolutely avoid positioning right before U.S. indicators and events are released. If you go against the trend, it’s hard to recover. Don’t make careless mistakes; absolutely not.
You can check the U.S. indicators and events schedule on the websites of brokerage firms and FX brokers.
Of course, there are many other points besides these three, but I’ve talked about the minimum points you should keep in mind when scalping the dollar-yen pair.

Actually, one of my trading methods, the "15-minute scalping," is fully released for free. I hope it can be of some reference to you (completely free).
