Gladius Takamitsu "Weekly Gold Price Outlook" July 27, 2026 issue
Takao Kabuki, President and CEO of Investment Daily, a pioneer in astrology market analysis and a leading figure in financial cycle analysis, authors the weekly report on gold price outlook.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The August 10 issue will be on break for the summer holidays. Thank you for your understanding.
Last week's New York gold market (near month) closed up $52.00 at $4,070.80. The low was $3,986.50, continuing the previous week's breach of the $4,000 level, but the closing price remained. Nevertheless, falling below $4,000 remains a danger of free-fall. On a weekly chart, bearishness remains until it moves above the 15-week moving average (MA). This MA has served as support on an uptrend since January 2025, but after peaking and then breaking below in March 2026, it has become a resistance line, constraining the extent of upside. Now, the Iran situation remains tangled, but the market’s reaction to gold has been muted. However, interest rates have risen to levels not seen since January 2025. If this month’s monthly chart ends with an ongoing bullish breakout, it would suggest a triangle breakout and confirm a bullish trend. This week's FOMC will be a focal point.
