Hello to all GogoJungle users! Today we introduce the USDJPY-specific multi-function Expert Advisor “Penta_Core_USDJPY(H1)”. The biggest feature of this EA is that it doesn’t operate on a single logic, but rather “integrates 5 independent logics (cores) into one EA.” It was developed to flexibly respond to various market conditions and to operate with diversified risk.

1. Diversified Risk with the “5 Core Logics”

This EA uses the 1-hour chart (H1) as the main chart, while also considering the trend on the higher timeframe of 4 hours (H4). The five included strategies (EA1–EA5) each have completely different indicators and exit rules.

  • EA1 (Buy on Dips / Sell on Rallies): A strategy using the 4-hour (H4) Keltner Channel. Fixed stop loss (50 pips) and take profit (70 pips) are set.

  • EA2 (Breakout): Combines Awesome Oscillator (AO) and QQE indicator, entering based on daily high/low.

  • EA3 (Dynamic Entry): In addition to AO and Keltner Channel, uses moving average (SMMA) and Bollinger Band width to dynamically determine entry price in step with the market.

  • EA4 (Trend Follow + Trailing Exit): Uses ADX of two different periods to judge trend strength. Employs ATR-based trailing stop to maximize profits.

  • EA5 (Time-Based Exit): A trend-following strategy using Vortex indicators across three different periods. In addition to fixed profit and loss ranges, has an ExitAfterBars function that forces exits after a specified number of bars.

2. Intuitive Chart-Based Operation! Handy “UI Panel”

Another major appeal of ‘Penta_Core_USDJPY(H1)’ is its custom UI panel. Normally, adjusting EA settings requires opening the parameters screen, but with this EA you can control live operation by simply clicking the buttons at the lower-left of the chart.

  • Buy/Sell Control: You can individually enable or disable Long (buy) and Short (sell) entries.

  • Individual ON/OFF of Logics: Each logic EA1–EA5 can be turned ON/OFF individually. You can flexibly run things like “EA3 is acting up right now, so stop it” directly from the chart (green = active, red = stopped).

  • Visualize Operating Status: The info panel at the top-left of the chart shows current open position P/L, account balance, and accumulated P/L to date, so you can see the status at a glance.

3. Flexible Capital Management and Trading Restriction Options

There are fine-grained option settings to match your lifestyle and capital amount.

  • Trading Time/Day Restrictions: Sell restrictions on weekends (DontTradeOnWeekends) and end-of-week full exits on Friday (ExitOnFriday), as well as daily exits at a specified time (ExitAtEndOfDay).

  • Prevention of Overtrading: Features to restrict entry times (LimitTimeRange) and a limit on the number of trades per day (MaxTradesPerDay).

  • Auto Completion of Suffixes: Automatically completes broker-specific currency pair names (e.g., USDJPY.pro), reducing setup hassle.
