This EA uses the 1-hour chart (H1) as the main chart, and also factors in the trend of the higher timeframe 4-hour chart (H4). The five strategies (EA1–EA5) each have completely different indicators and exit rules.

  • EA1 (Buy on Dips / Sell on Retracements): A strategy using the 4-hour Chennel (Keltner Channel). Stop loss (50 pips) and take profit (70 pips) are fixed.

  • EA2 (Breakout Type): Combines Awesome Oscillator (AO) and QQE indicator, enters based on daily high/low.

  • EA3 (Dynamic Entry): In addition to AO and Keltner Channel, uses moving average (SMMA) and Bollinger Bands width to dynamically determine entry price in response to the market.

  • EA4 (Trend Following + Trailing Exit): Uses ADX from two different periods to assess trend strength. Uses ATR-based trailing stop to aim for maximizing profits.

  • EA5 (Time-Driven Exit): A trend-following strategy using three different period Vortex indicators. In addition to fixed profit/stop loss, it features an ExitAfterBars function that forces exit after a specified number of bars.

2. Intuitive Control Directly from the Chart! Convenient "UI Panel"

Another major appeal of 'Penta_Core_USDJPY(H1)' is its unique UI panel. Normally, you need to open the parameter screen to adjust EA settings, but with this EA you can control operation in real time by simply clicking a button in the bottom-left of the chart.

  • Trading Time and Day Restrictions:Weekend trading restrictions (DontTradeOnWeekends), end-of-Friday full settlement (ExitOnFriday), and end-of-day settlement (ExitAtEndOfDay) are programmable.

  • Prevention of Overtrading: Time-range limits for entries (LimitTimeRange) and a maximum number of trades per day (MaxTradesPerDay) are included.

  • Auto Suffix Completion: Special currency pair names that vary by broker (e.g., USDJPY.pro) are automatically completed, reducing setup hassle.
