Mermaid-dedicated EA: Streamlining the flow from signal to order placement
| There’s also a dedicated EA available for mermaid, right? I think viewers will be curious about this. |
| Sekine |
| pretty mermaid |
| Yes. The mermaid-dedicated EA is built based on mermaid’s logic, so instead of waiting for the signal and then trying to chase it with a generic EA, it’s designed to streamline the entire flow from condition checks to order execution. We’ve implemented a mechanism where the EA begins the order process even before the signal display appears. |
| The key is that the signal system and the EA aren’t separate—they’re integrated specifically for mermaid. |
| Sekine |
| pretty mermaid |
| Exactly. Of course, using an EA doesn’t guarantee profits. But for those who want to automate in line with the signal’s logic, or who are too busy to watch charts continuously, I think it’s a viable option. |
MT5 version of mermaid: New developments aligned with changing environments
| And recently, you’ve also released an MT5 version of mermaid, right? |
| Sekine |
| pretty mermaid |
| Yes. Many people still use MT4, but there’s a growing demand to use MT5 in line with broader trends. I wanted to make sure people who prefer MT5 can still use mermaid’s signals even as their environment changes. |
| It feels like you’re evolving—not just releasing a product and stopping there, but continuously updating to match users’ environments. |
| Sekine |

| I work in IT, so that’s important to me. User environments change, and I always want to reevaluate usability. |

GogoJungle’s internal FX competition: Last year’s champion aiming for back-to-back titles
Actually, I managed to win GogoJungle’s internal FX competition! This year, I’d like to use mermaid and go for a second consecutive victory. |
| Sekine |
| pretty mermaid |
| That’s a big responsibility. But if you stick to the rules properly, I think it will be a very reliable partner. |
| In competitions, I sometimes rush and enter at bad spots, so I want to use the pips calculator to keep a cool head about position sizing. |
| Sekine |
| pretty mermaid |
The more you feel rushed, the more rules help. Look at the signal, check the pips, confirm the conditions, and if it’s not right, skip it. This “skipping” is also crucial in trading. |
Usage tips: Enter by the signal; for exits, your own rules also matter
| Please share some practical tips for using it. |
| Sekine |
| pretty mermaid |
| First, don’t jump in with a large lot just because a signal appears. Start small and evaluate compatibility by currency pair and time of day. Next, decide your stop-loss and take-profit rules in advance. I often enter according to the signal, but for exits I judge based on market momentum and the chart. |
| Using a pips calculator there makes it easy to check “what the profit/loss would be for this pips range.” |
| Sekine |
| pretty mermaid |
| Exactly. Mermaid helps with entry decisions, but across the whole trade, money management, stop-losses, take-profits, and mindset are also essential. The more you want to win, the more you should stay calm; the more you lose, the less emotional you should get. I always keep that in mind. |
Summary: Have fun and don’t overextend yourself
| Today we heard a lot from pretty mermaid about the dedicated EA, the MT5 version, and usage tips. IT, MBA, management consulting, and the markets—plus golf, snowboarding, dancing, surfing in Bali, and enjoying drinks. It’s amazing how it all sounds fun despite the sheer volume of activities. |

| Thank you. To live enjoyably, I believe it’s important not to overextend yourself in the markets. |
| Mermaid is a system that supports entry decisions with arrow signals and aims for around 75% predictive accuracy in backtesting. There’s also a dedicated EA and an MT5 version, making it easy to adapt to different user styles. Investing involves risk and does not guarantee future profits.
