This EA uses the 1-hour chart (H1) as the main chart and also factors in the trend of the higher timeframe 4-hour chart (H4). The five strategies included (EA1–EA5) each have completely different indicators and exit rules.

  • EA1 (Buy on dips / Sell on rallies): A strategy using the 4-hour chart (H4) Celta Channel. Stop loss (50 pips) and take profit (70 pips) are fixed.

  • EA2 (Breakout type): Combines Awesome Oscillator (AO) and QQE indicator, and enters based on daily high/low.

  • EA3 (Dynamic entry): Uses AO and Celta Channel, plus moving average (SMMA) and Bollinger Band width to dynamically determine entry price according to market conditions.

  • EA4 (Trend-following + trailing exit): Uses two different period ADX to gauge trend strength. Applies ATR-based trailing stop to maximize profits.

  • EA5 (Time-based exit): A trend-following strategy using Vortex indicators across three different periods. In addition to fixed take profit / stop loss, it has an ExitAfterBars feature to force close after a specified number of bars.

2. Intuitive On-Chart Operation! Convenient “UI Panel”

Another major attraction of ‘Penta_Core_USDJPY(H1)’ is its unique UI panel. Normally, you need to open the parameters screen to change EA settings, but with this EA you can control real-time operation just by clicking a button in the lower-left corner of the chart.

  • Buy / Sell control: You can separately enable or disable Long (buy) and Short (sell) entries.

  • Individual ON/OFF for each logic: You can independently turn EA1–EA5 on or off. Flexible operation such as “EA3 is not performing well right now, so stop it” is possible from the chart with one click (green = running, red = stopped).

  • Visibility of operation status: The information panel at the top-left of the chart displays current open positions’ P/L, account balance, and cumulative P/L to easily grasp the operating status.

3. Flexible Capital Management and Trade-Restriction Options

We’ve included fine-grained option settings to match your lifestyle and capital.

  • Trading time and day restrictions: Restrictions on weekend trading (DontTradeOnWeekends) and complete liquidation at specified times on Fridays (ExitOnFriday), as well as liquidation at a specified time each day (ExitAtEndOfDay).

  • Prevention of overtrading: Features to limit enterable time ranges (LimitTimeRange) and a maximum number of trades per day (MaxTradesPerDay).

  • Automatic suffix completion: Broker-specific currency pair names (e.g., USDJPY.pro) are automatically completed, saving you from tedious setup.
