AI has a lifespan. If you miss the signs of replacement, you will continue to lose

How long can the deployed AI be used? The answer is “as long as the market preserves the learning patterns of that AI.” In other words, its lifespan cannot be known in advance. If you don’t know, you must have a method to quickly recognize when its lifespan is exhausted. I’ll describe the points I look at on the performance panel.

1. Underperforming win-rate.Look at the difference between the win rate during verification and the win rate during operation. Do not judge after just a few losses (the denominator is discussed in a previous article). If the number of resolved trades keeps sinking clearly from the verification level, it’s a sign that the regularity has begun to break down.

2. Shrinking average pips.Even with a maintained win rate, the take profit per trade can shrink. If wins are small and losses are the same, the expected value quietly degrades. Sometimes this appears before win rate.

3. Bias in losses.If losses start concentrating in certain time slots or certain price movements, some characteristic of the market has changed.

What matters is to judge these not by feelings of “things are going poorly,” but by numbers. For that, there is a machine-aggregated tally of all trades. And when lifespan judgment appears, instead of fixing, you replace. Retrain from learning and re-select in the current market. Treat AI not as a tool but as a consumable. This is the core philosophy of operating ‘GENSEN-AI.’ Expecting one unit to last forever leads to clinging to a degraded unit and continued losses.
