【7/20】"The answer has not yet come out."
Did anyone feel that it’s hard to tell whether GOLD is going up or down by looking at today’s price?
I feel the same way. That’s why today I’m adopting a policy of not forcing a direction.
I’ve organized the basis for that.
Today’s Market Situation
Today’s GOLD is hovering around $4,023. There have been moments that briefly surpassed the previous high near $4,023, showing a gradual rebound recently. The 1-hour EMA20 (short-term moving average) remains downward, but the RSI (relative strength index) is around 58 on the 1-hour chart and around 64 on the 15-minute chart, meaning the shape of the EMA and the direction of the RSI are not aligned. In short, a mix of lingering downtrend and rebound momentum creates a market that is hard to pin to one direction.

Today I think it’s better not to force a stance. If the 1-hour EMA75 (around $4,016) clearly breaks above and holds, I plan to switch to a bullish view. Conversely, if the 1-hour EMA20 (around $4,006) breaks down and returns toward the previous day’s low, I plan to reaffirm a bearish view.
In the past, I used to force a direction in such cases where the EMA and RSI directions didn’t align, and I ended up being driven by price movements that didn’t commit to either side. Now I decide to pause judgment on days when the signals don’t align.
Today’s Reference Lines
Since the direction isn’t clear today, I will refrain from calculating a reference entry. I will share judgment criteria again once the direction becomes clear.
