Episode 2: The Me, Up Until 32 Years Old, Who Thought I Could Win Just by Luck
BuilderOU STORY|Episode 2
I used to think I could win just by luck
until I was 32
On winning days, it was my ability.
On losing days, luck was bad.
Hello.
I am
Mr. Ojun of BuilderOU (Builder King).
In Episode 1, I talked about taking on my parents' debt
and then stepping in to cover it,
and starting investments from 7,000 yen.
I explained the course of events.
This time, I will tell you about what happened next,
up until around my 32nd year,
the era of
“trusting luck in trading.”
1. On winning days
I believed it was my own ability
If I won, I would think I had talent.
I believed I had talent.
Even in the early days of starting out,
there were days when I happened to win by chance.
Once I won,
I would think,
“I have talent.”
If wins continued two or three times,
I would become convinced that
“this method is correct.”
However, at that time I could not
explain why I had won.
I hadn’t kept records of market conditions or the basis for my entries.
I only looked at the results
and convinced myself it was my own ability.
2. On losing days
I thought it was due to luck.
I attributed the losses to the market or to luck.
