[Episode 4] Why do I only study USD/JPY?
"Aren't you looking at other currency pairs?"
This is a question I often receive.
EUR/USD.
GBP/JPY.
AUD/USD.
There are many attractive currency pairs.
So why do I continue to study only the USD/JPY pair?
The reason is very simple.
I am not looking for winning currency pairs.
I want to create an environment where I can verify things.
Many people switch currency pairs when they lose.
I lost on USD/JPY.
Next is EUR/USD.
And I lose there as well.
Now it's GBP/JPY.
Then gold.
Then NASDAQ.
Before you know it, only charts multiply.
But here is something to consider.
Is the market truly the thing that has changed?
Or is it you?
If you keep changing the conditions, you can't compare anything.
When I test a logic,
the most frightening thing is "the inability to compare".
For example,
This year it's USD/JPY.
Next year it's GBP/JPY.
The year after that it's gold.
With this,
I can't tell whether the logic changed.
Or the market changed.
Or whether the currency pair changed.
I cannot judge.
In other words,
it becomes impossible to improve.
