Hello, I am Tanuki Trader Ponta! I originally started my career in sales as a company employee, but I’m not very good at dealing with people, and the sales job and company relationships became a lot of stress. The stress from the company affected my health, and I took about half a year off. I tried various side jobs, including expensive cram schools, FX automated trading systems, binary options, and cryptocurrency, but I ended up drowning in debt. At one point I thought about giving up on making money with FX, but I couldn’t give up, so I spent more than 5 hours after work every day glued to charts for testing and research to earn through discretionary trading. I continued this lifestyle for a year and a half every day, and my fundamental understanding of FX deepened. From there, I began to earn steadily and became a full-time trader. Now, in order to prevent others who are trying to take FX seriously from wasting time, I share my knowledge and experience through YouTube. I continually research trading methods that even FX beginners can win with, and I also publish trading ideas. I’d be happy to help even one more person make a profit with FX!

[July 9 (Thu)] Today's target currency pairs [Dollar-Yen / Gold, etc.]

Hello!

I am Ponta the Tanuki Trader!

Now, I will explain today’s target currency pairs.

First, the USD/JPY: today the momentum of a stronger dollar is somewhat weaker, and a strong rise has not yet emerged.

However, if we can clearly break the previous day’s high, I expect we can continue to look for buying opportunities on dips.

Therefore, for USD/JPY I will watch whether it can break above yesterday’s high.

We will keep this as the key point to focus on.


On the other hand, the GBP/JPY has become a quite favorable setup.


Currently there is a bullish trend for the pound, and from yesterday into today GBP/JPY has shown a solid upward momentum.


Moreover, it has already broken yesterday’s high today, so after any pullback, it becomes easier to target buy entries.


Therefore, today I think GBP/JPY looks more favorable than USD/JPY for a buying setup.



However, I don’t want to rush in; I want to wait for a proper pullback before entering.


With that, let’s do our best in trading today as well!
