Hello, I am Tanuki Trader Ponta! I originally started my career in sales as a company employee, but I’m not very good at dealing with people, and the sales job and company relationships became a lot of stress. The stress from the company affected my health, and I took about half a year off. I tried various side jobs, including expensive cram schools, FX automated trading systems, binary options, and cryptocurrency, but I ended up drowning in debt. At one point I thought about giving up on making money with FX, but I couldn’t give up, so I spent more than 5 hours after work every day glued to charts for testing and research to earn through discretionary trading. I continued this lifestyle for a year and a half every day, and my fundamental understanding of FX deepened. From there, I began to earn steadily and became a full-time trader. Now, in order to prevent others who are trying to take FX seriously from wasting time, I share my knowledge and experience through YouTube. I continually research trading methods that even FX beginners can win with, and I also publish trading ideas. I’d be happy to help even one more person make a profit with FX!

I am Ponta the Tanuki Trader!

Now, I will proceed with today's market analysis. Today, the overall movement has been yen-strong. Since it’s the weekend, there appears to be profit-taking selling orders against the dollar/yen and pound/yen that had risen earlier this week. For traders aiming to secure profit within a week, the typical flow is to buy in the first half of the week and execute profit-taking sells toward the weekend. Therefore, for both USD/JPY and GBP/JPY, the big trend is upward, but today there was selling to close positions, leading to a stronger yen and a retracement the price movement.


Additionally, as we move toward next week, there is a possibility of another rise from this correction, so I don’t think there is a need to force trades today. Next week onward, I would like to look for points to aim for solid pullback buying. First, the high price hit yesterday is what I want to focus on. Whether this high breaks clearly is important. The next trading strategy will be determined after confirming that.
