EA trade frequency (regarding the combination of high-frequency EAs and low-frequency EAs)
Currently on the GogoJungle site,
various EAs are being sold,
EAs have various "types of trading frequency,"
I think many of you may have noticed this.
Some EAs enter trades at uniformly high frequency,
while others enter rarely in normal conditions and,
when market conditions are favorable, suddenly make a lot of entries,
and so on. Depending on the logic of the EA,
the types of entry frequency differ in various ways.
For example, the "Pips_miner_EA" we offer was originally developed as an【ultra-high-frequency type EA】,
and it performs trades almost every day, making it a high-frequency type EA.
On the other hand,
there are low-frequency type EAs that operate with trade entries only after a favorable market state is reached,
that is, they do not enter trades until that point.
For example, in our EAs,
EA_final_max_Revolution,
and
NEO_Sca_morning_EURAUD
fall into this category.
And,
【High-frequency EA】... basically with low win rate
【Low-frequency EA】... basically with high win rate
Thus, the points of high vs. low frequency are also
one of the EA’s features,
so from the perspective of portfolio construction and experience with EA operation,
we recommend balancing both approaches and running them in a stable manner.
When building an EA portfolio, including dollar-yen EAs and euro-dollar EAs, swing EAs and scalping EAs,
trend-type EAs and range-type EAs,
it is recommended to combine "EAs of different types" for balance.
In this sense, a combination of【High-frequency EA】and【Low-frequency EA】also
proves to be a good portfolio balance,
so by combining them effectively,
it should be fine to achieve stable EA operation.
Also regarding the current discussion of "entry frequency,"
the following blog contains practical examples that may be useful for reference,
