Hello, I am Tanuki Trader Ponta! I originally started my career in sales as a company employee, but I’m not very good at dealing with people, and the sales job and company relationships became a lot of stress. The stress from the company affected my health, and I took about half a year off. I tried various side jobs, including expensive cram schools, FX automated trading systems, binary options, and cryptocurrency, but I ended up drowning in debt. At one point I thought about giving up on making money with FX, but I couldn’t give up, so I spent more than 5 hours after work every day glued to charts for testing and research to earn through discretionary trading. I continued this lifestyle for a year and a half every day, and my fundamental understanding of FX deepened. From there, I began to earn steadily and became a full-time trader. Now, in order to prevent others who are trying to take FX seriously from wasting time, I share my knowledge and experience through YouTube. I continually research trading methods that even FX beginners can win with, and I also publish trading ideas. I’d be happy to help even one more person make a profit with FX!

Hello!

This is Ponta the Tanuki Trader!

Now, let's conduct today's market analysis.


Following yesterday's employment statistics, the market moved significantly and generally trended toward a weaker dollar.


However, since this movement is contrary to the previous major trend, honestly, it is currently a difficult trading environment.


First, USD/JPY is at a stage to determine whether this will be the start of a downward move or the continuation of an upward trend.



Even on the daily chart, it is not clear which direction is stronger or where the big trend is headed. Therefore, until the sense of direction becomes clear, I believe we should not force entries and instead wait patiently.


The Euro/Dollar is likewise rising due to the dollar’s weakness.


However, it is still difficult to determine whether this move is the initial phase of an uptrend or a temporary rise that will resume declines.


In any case, USD/JPY and EUR/USD do not show a clear sense of direction, so for now I would rather not chase trades and wait until the trend becomes clearer.

So, let's do our best today as well!
