At the core of Mr. Blacksun’s method is multi-timeframe (MTF) analysis that combines “Supertrend” with “RCI.”
First, display Supertrend on a higher timeframe such as the daily chart to grasp the overall trend direction.
Then observe the three RCI lines and drill down to the lower timeframes.

“By observing the three RCI lines on the daily timeframe, you can tell which lower timeframe to look at next. The fun part is that you can make decisions as if solving a puzzle.”

It’s not as simple as “after the 4-hour, look at the 1-hour.” Instead, you derive the optimal next lower timeframe to focus on from the shape of the RCI.
He says this is the greatest appeal of using RCI.

In indicator-based trading, it’s common to passively wait for signals to appear.
