[July 2 (Thu)] Today's target currency pairs [USD/JPY, gold, etc.]

I am Ponta, the Tanuki Trader!

I will explain today's target currency pairs. The Euro/US Dollar and Pound/US Dollar are in a downtrend on the daily chart. Therefore, the market basically aims for selling rallies. Until now, I’ve been focusing on breaks of lows and breaks below trendlines. However, today there is movement in the opposite direction of the daily downtrend. Both the Euro/US Dollar and Pound/US Dollar show an uptrend on the 1-hour chart, so the daily and 1-hour directions are not aligned. At this point, I consider the environment a little difficult to target. Also, tonight the US jobs report is due. Because the US market will be closed tomorrow, this month’s jobs report will be announced on Thursday. When focusing on USD/JPY, the yen's appreciation movement has become quite strong currently. The jobs data this time could reveal the market’s directional sense and a new daily-chart level trend.

Therefore, today it would be better to prioritize confirming the trend direction after the jobs report rather than forcing trades. If there aren’t good opportunities, there is no need to enter forcibly. After the big trend becomes clear, look for entry points that are easier to target. Well then, let’s do our best today as well!
