[June 30 (Tue)] Today's target currency pairs [USD/JPY, Gold, etc.]

Hello!

I’m Ponta the Tanuki Trader!I will explain today’s target currency pairs.Today, EURUSD and GBPUSD are moving toward a stronger dollar, and on the daily chart a downtrend persists. Additionally, on the 1-hour chart, the market is in a phase where it seems ready to move from a minor rally back down again.

First, the EURUSD has broken the upward trendline. Furthermore, if the previous day’s low is clearly broken, it becomes a favorable environment for selling on retracements.The previous day’s low also forms the neckline of a double top on the 1-hour chart. If such a strong support line is decisively broken to the downside, the downward momentum may intensify, so this is a point to watch closely.Next, regarding GBPUSD, a clean upward trendline can be drawn on the 1-hour chart. If it breaks this trendline and then retraces toward the vicinity of the line, a selling-on-retrace scenario would be possible from there.

For both currency pairs, today the dollar is advancing. If the downside momentum gains even more strength in the London and New York sessions, I plan to wait for a proper pullback and aim for selling on the retrace.
