On 2/18, purchased FX Revolution, and for about a month, while practicing binary options, verified the accuracy of FX Revolution's signals for about 2 hours every day (on weekdays after full-time work, there was no demo trading, just confirming signal accuracy). After finishing night shifts in winter, on 3/25, deposited 150,000 yen into XM and began real trading with gold fixed at 0.05 lots.

As for the situation during this period:
- Most trades were on gold. Rarely, due to my own discretion, USD/JPY.
- Trading after work from 18:00 to 24:00, about 2–4 hours, with profit of +30,000 to +60,000, then exit.
- Lot size fixed at 0.05. When balance exceeded 700,000, changed to 0.1.
- A style closer to day trading than scalping.
It may have been accidental, but there were only a few stop losses (one time on USD/JPY I forgot I had set 1 lot and accidentally entered gold with 1 lot, and within 2–3 minutes of adverse movement I lost 100,000 yen).
As you all know, during this period the market moved more on fundamentals and remarks from officials than on technicals due to Middle East tensions affecting oil, the dollar, and gold, so it was very helpful that the signals remained highly accurate.
Going forward, my personal challenges are: how to skip entries in the month when repainting (in other words, going against the direction of the higher timeframe); and how to become stricter and calmer at cutting losses. Also, since I had been staring at charts while waiting for stop loss and take profit, I’ve started to understand gold-specific price action (especially where strong momentum occurs), so I hope to trade with both tools and practical experience.
With self-control, discipline, and willpower intact, I’ve gained confidence to compete in the FX market, so I plan to continue using tools while building up experiential knowledge. If there is anything, please guide me.
