Is Grid Rush effective for scalping Gold XAUUSD? Starting real trading verification
Grid Rush Series: Signals for EURUSD, USDJPY, XAUUSD Scalping Indicators & EA
In short-term FX trading,
no matter how excellent the logic is, if the currency pair isn’t a good fit, performance won’t be stable.
There are markets where trends tend to form, and markets where prices swing up and down and then revert.
How you interpret that price action is very important in short-term trading.
The Grid Rush series is a counter-trend indicator/EA series developed with a focus on such price movements.
Currently, GogoJungle publishes the following Grid Rush related tools.

What is the Grid Rush Series?
The Grid Rush series is a trading tool developed for short-term trading.
Its feature is to look for entry points while watching market volatility and price movement direction.
It targets not only strongly trending markets in one direction, but also price reversals after moves, retracements, and range-bound markets.
In other words, it’s a logic that incorporates counter-trend thinking rather than simple trend-following.
In particular, development has emphasized currency pairs with narrow spreads that are well-suited for short-term trading, such as EURUSD.
Also, the MT5 version supports USDJPY, making it easy to use in combination with trend-following EAs or as a complement to a portfolio.
Advantages in EURUSD
EURUSD is the main axis of the Grid Rush series.
EURUSD has relatively narrow spreads and is well-suited for short-term trading.
Scalping-type indicators and EAs can lose profit when spreads are wide.
Therefore, currency-pair selection is very important in short-term trading logic.
EURUSD has favorable spreads, and has been developed as the core pair in the Grid Rush series.
The MT4 version Grid Rash_Arrow_Indicator is an indicator for EUR/USD.
It is suitable for those who want to reference the signs on the chart and make their own entry decisions.
It is not an automated trading tool; it is a tool to assist trading decisions, so it is recommended for those who want to trade manually while watching the chart.
If you want to automate short-term trading, or want EA to handle trading instead of discretion, the EA version is an option.
Advantages in USDJPY
Grid Rush MT5 confirms an edge in USDJPY while focusing on EURUSD.
USDJPY often forms trends and is known to pair well with trend-following EAs.
However, trend-following EAs can struggle in range-bound or choppy markets.
Therefore, combining Grid Rush MT5 with counter-trend concepts may perform in markets where trend-following EAs struggle.
In other words, for those already operating a USDJPY trend-following EA, Grid Rush MT5 can serve as a portfolio complement.
By combining an EA that targets trending markets with one that targets range and reversals, you can diversify strengths and weaknesses by market condition.
This series is suited for those who prefer combining multiple logics rather than seeking a single all-winning EA.
Possibilities in XAUUSD
Recently, I’ve particularly focused on XAUUSD, i.e., gold.
Gold moves very much and is well-suited for short-term trading, but its spread and lot management are critical considerations.
Therefore, it isn’t something that can be easily recommended to everyone.
However, large volatility means more opportunities for signals and short-term trading logic.
In fact, in FX Replay’s Battle Tournament, using gold yielded a win rate of 78.95% and placed 3rd in the tournament.
Of course, this was in practice/testing environments.
It does not guarantee the same results in real trading.
Nevertheless, Grid Rush logic has potential to function not only for EURUSD but also for highly volatile instruments like XAUUSD.
Note that the Grid Rush logic is not disclosed at this time due to risk of leakages.
The backtest results above are prepared to study and verify how much advantage could be achieved if applying Grid Rush logic to XAUUSD.
In real accounts, the actual gold spread is expected to be 0.10 dollars or more, so we also show backtest results conducted at 10 points.
For Discretion Traders: Sign Indicators
For those who want to judge by themselves while watching the chart, sign indicators are recommended.
Sign indicators do not automatically buy/sell like an EA.
They display BUY and SELL signs on the chart to assist entry decisions.
They are especially suitable for those who
・Want to judge by themselves by looking at the chart
・Want to keep discretion rather than full auto trading
・Want to train by referring to signs
・Are testing short-term trading on TradingView, MT4, or MT5
・Want to find timing for scalping or day trading

If you are using MT4,

In this way, you can choose according to your environment.
For Auto Trading Enthusiasts: EA
For those who find it hard to keep watching charts, EA automatic trading is an option.
Grid Rush MT5 and Grid Rash EURUSD are EAs to automate short-term trading.
Using EAs allows you to automate entries and exits based on rules.
However, Grid Rush-type EAs are counter-trend and grid-nanpin style, so risk management is extremely important.
Even if a scenario looks favorable for high win rate, there is potential for large losses in strongly directional markets.
Therefore, it is recommended not to entrust all funds to a single EA, but to use it as part of a portfolio.
By combining a trend-following EA, a momentum or breakout EA, and discretion trading, you can diversify advantages across market conditions.
Which product should you choose?
If you want to trade discretionarily, a sign indicator is recommended.
If you want auto trading on EURUSD, choose the EA.
If you want to operate in MT5, choose Grid Rush MT5.
If you want to use EURUSD-focused EA in MT4, choose Grid Rash EURUSD.
If you are trading gold, set the indicator on MT4/MT5 charts and trade with a low-spread broker such as GMO Click Securities or FXTF.

The “Grid Rush” series is a trade system that adopts a counter-trend (contrarian) logic centered on EURUSD.
It optimizes strategies according to each instrument’s characteristics as follows:
EURUSD:Short-term trading that makes the most of a narrow spread
USDJPY:Complementary operation that covers the weaknesses of trend-following EAs
XAUUSD:High-frequency trading using volatility for scalping
Thus, each currency pair is developed with awareness of its distinct advantages.
Of course, none of the tools guarantee profits.
Losses may occur depending on market conditions.
In particular, EA auto trading and nanpin-style logic require very careful money management, position sizing, and operational stopping decisions.
However, by understanding market characteristics and using appropriate currency pairs, account environment, and lot sizes, the Grid Rush series can be one of the options for trading decisions and auto trading.
If you’re interested in short-term trading, sign indicators, or EA auto trading, please check out the Grid Rush series.
