Introduction

“A signal appeared. But I can’t win.” — The real cause

If you scalping gold (XAUUSD), have you ever experienced entering based on an indicator’s signal, only for the price to move in the opposite direction? Great backtests but poor real-world results—

One of the causes is that “the direction indicated by the signal and the market’s major trend were opposite.” Even if a long signal appears on a 5-minute chart, if the H1 or H4 is in a downtrend, that long is a counter-trend trade against the flow. Each entry feels pulled back by invisible gravity.

The solution is simple.Check the higher-timeframe trend first, then enter with the lower-timeframe signal.
To do this,combine AI GOLD SCALPER PROandMTF Vision.

This article explains in practical steps how to use the two tools, how to differentiate their use, and how to integrate them.

Role Clarification

First, understand what each tool does

Before using both tools together, clearly define each tool’s role. They do not overlap; rather, they complement each other perfectly.

Entry Signal Responsibility

AI GOLD SCALPER PRO

Displayed on M1–M5. The composite oscillator indicates buy/sell timing with arrows. It also automatically calculates TP/SL and displays real-time performance on an information panel. It’s the tool that tells you “when to enter.”

Trend Confirmation Responsibility

MTF Vision

Displays four-timeframe charts (M5, M15, H1, H4) on one screen. Visualizes each TF bias (bullish/bearish), FVG, divergences, and alignment meter. It tells you “which direction to ride.”

Core Strategy

Use MTF Vision as an “upper-timeframe filter”

The simplest and most effective way to use them together isuse MTF Vision as a filter for AI GOLD SCALPER PRO. When AI GOLD SCALPER PRO signals, enter only when the higher-timeframe bias and direction in MTF Vision align.

Basic rule: Only ride long signals when MTF Vision’s H1/H4 are “BULL.” Only ride short signals when they’re “BEAR.”

This alone structurally eliminates counter-trend entries. The number of signals may decrease, but the quality sharply increases. Raising the win rate is essentially this.

1

Check H4 bias with MTF Vision

In MTF Vision’s dashboard, check the H4 row. If it shows “BULL,” aim for the buy direction; if “BEAR,” aim for the sell direction. On days when H4 is neutral (NUTRAL or mom value within ±0.3), not entering is a valid option.

2

Narrow further with H1 bias

Even if H4 is BULL, if H1 is BEAR, a pullback may be occurring. The most reliable moment is when both H4 and H1 align in the same direction (double alignment). If MTF Vision’s alignment meter shows a positive direction, that signal is strong.

3

Set AI GOLD SCALPER PRO’s signal mode

After the direction is decided by MTF Vision, switch AI GOLD SCALPER PRO’s parameter “Signal Mode.” If H4/H1 are BULL, set to “Long only”; if BEAR, set to “Short only.” This eliminates opposite-direction signals from appearing on the chart and removes psychological doubt.

4

Wait for AI GOLD SCALPER PRO signals on M5/M1

Once the higher-timeframe direction is confirmed, wait for AI GOLD SCALPER PRO’s M5 or M1 signals. Enter when the arrow appears and exit at AI-TP or AI-SL. If MTF Vision’s M5 bias also aligns in the same direction, reliability increases further.

Concrete Examples

Scenes to Enter vs. Scenes to Fold

Because theory alone is hard to convey, consider concrete scenarios.

✔ Enter in a scenario — All TFs aligned long
H4MTF Vision dashboard: H4 =BULL(mom: +0.62) — Strong upside bias
H1H1 =BULL(mom: +0.38) — Medium-term also aligned higher
AlignmentAlignment Meter:ALL TFs ALIGNED BULL— Just after all-TF alignment alert

✖ Scenes to avoid — signals opposing the higher-timeframe
H4MTF Vision dashboard: H4 =BEAR(mom: -0.55) — Downward bias
H1H1 =BEAR(mom: -0.41) — Medium-term also downward

H4H4 =BULL(mom: +0.22) — Weak upside bias
H1H1 =BEAR(mom: -0.35) — H1 is downward

Applied Techniques

Further utilize MTf Vision information

In addition to the basic higher-timeframe filter, you can further leverage the information MTf Vision provides to improve entry accuracy.

A

Use FVG (Fair Value Gap) as a target

MTF Vision’s mini-chart automatically displays FVG (unfilled price gaps). When an uptrend has an H1 or H4 FVG nearby, waiting for AI GOLD SCALPER PRO’s long signal as price returns to the FVG can improve pullback entry accuracy.

B

Read divergences as a precursor to trend change

When Bull Divergence lights up in MTf Vision’s Dv column, it may indicate the end of a downtrend. If AI GOLD SCALPER PRO then signals a long shortly after, the entry may be more reliable. Conversely, Bear Divergence can be used as an early take-profit signal for long positions.

C

Make ALL TFs ALIGNED alert your entry “gunshot”

MTF Vision has an ALL TFs ALIGNED alert. When M5, M15, H1, and H4 all align in the same direction, you’ll be notified. When this alert rings, switch instantly to AI GOLD SCALPER PRO’s chart and wait for a signal arrow in the same direction — the highest-quality entry opportunity. Since you don’t want to miss it, keep alerts for both tools ON.

D

Combine session filter and time window

Set AI GOLD SCALPER PRO’s Session Filter to only active during London time, and check MTF Vision for London-trend bias. Gold often moves strongly during London to early New York hours, so narrowing to this window helps filter out “fake signals” from low-volatility periods.

Setup Guide

Recommended setup when using both tools

A checklist of initial settings before you start trading. When in doubt, return here.

Recommended chart configuration:
・Open XAUUSD M5 chart on MT5
・Apply AI GOLD SCALPER PRO to the M5 chart
・Apply MTf Vision to the same M5 chart, or to an adjacent chart window
・Set MTf Vision’s display TF to M5 / M15 / H1 / H4

Summary

From “Follow signals” to “Choose signals”

Using only AI GOLD SCALPER PRO, and after combining with MTf Vision, your trading mindset should change. Previously you had a passive stance of “enter according to signals”; now you’ll actively enter only after confirming the direction of the higher timeframe and selecting optimal timing.

  • Confirm H4 and H1 biases before deciding entry direction
  • Set the signal mode to match the day’s direction, and avoid displaying opposite-direction signals
  • Only enter when ALL TFs Alignment alert rings, in full size
  • If divergence appears, use it to decide whether to take profit earlier or skip entry
  • If H4 and H1 directions diverge, take a clear pause
Even with fewer trades, improving the quality per trade is the fastest route to raising win rate.
The two tools are designed as the “eye” and the “trigger” for that purpose.
