【6/8 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Thank you for your hard work! Now, let's do USDJPY scalping again tonight!
First, today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 160.30. Today opened around 160.15 in the morning, and during the Tokyo session, despite continued small price movements, the dollar buying has been dominant as a reaction to the strong U.S. jobs data from the previous week. It is slightly above last Friday's high.
With the current fundamentals, intervention seems unlikely to have much effect, but we are in a currency intervention alert zone. This is not a level where you want to take many longs even in scalping.
USD/JPY is likely to hand over to the overseas session at around the morning level.
Now, the points for tonight's USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements near 16:00 London market open
● Movements near 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)

Other notes…
・Be wary of headlines related to U.S.-Iran
・Be wary of headlines related to BoJ forex intervention

Tonight's "1-minute scalping" is unlikely to have major market-moving data or events, so the spots to watch will be movements near market openings. For users of the "1-minute scalping club," handling according to the theory should be fine.
Also, the dedicated short-term "15-minute scalping" has been favored by dollar buying due to the strong U.S. jobs data from last week, so it's not a situation to force positions. Tonight I plan to focus safely on "1-minute scalping."
Now, the overseas session will begin soon!
Scalping tends to seem like there are opportunities 24 hours a day because the potential profit per trade is small, but that is not the case. By aiming for times with relatively high volatility, you can significantly reduce trading difficulty.
The times I target are around the London market open and around the New York market open.
・London market open times (16:00 in US daylight time / 17:00 in US standard time)
・New York market open times (22:00 in US daylight time / 23:00 in US standard time)
After the release of U.S. indicators/events, volatility often increases and opportunities arise. However, in the first few minutes after an announcement, the spread can widen, so it is essential to trade after it returns to the normal spread.
Please always check the U.S. indicators/events schedule in advance on the websites of brokers or FX providers. Knowing when opportunities will come helps you accumulate profits more efficiently.
Also, absolutely avoid positioning immediately before U.S. indicators/events. If price moves against you, you can be wiped out in an instant. Carelessness is not acceptable, absolutely not.
The U.S. indicators/events schedule can be checked on the websites of each brokerage or FX provider.
Of course there are many other points as well, but I have explained the minimum points you should keep in mind when scalping USD/JPY.
