Prologue
“I was betrayed again.” That anger was the start of it all
First, a disclaimer. I was a victim of FX tools.
When I was obsessed with scalping gold (XAUUSD), I bought several arrow-signal indicators. Each boasted “high precision” and “no repaint,” but when actually applied to the chart, a shocking scene unfolded — past signals appeared in perfect places, but real-time signals vanished one by one.
When I realized this, something burned inside me.
Not anger, not sadness. It was the pure fighting spirit of an engineer. “Then I will make something real.”
Chapter 01
Analyzing the “monster” called gold
XAUUSD is a fascinating currency pair. Daily moves can reach hundreds of pips, and scalping can yield large profits. But there are many traps too: geopolitical risks, abrupt moves in the dollar index, and low-liquidity timeframes — all of which can disrupt a trader’s judgment.
I started by thoroughly studying gold’s price movement. Pattern analysis on short timeframes like M1–M5, volatility distribution by session, optimal TP/SL ratios. Data dumped into Excel grew to thousands of rows.

These insights would later define the foundation of the development design.
Chapter 02
Grueling development — from “moving” to “winning”
Developing in MQL5 was, in one word, a swamp. Each feature addition broke something else. The more I optimized parameters, the more overfitting to past data occurred. Even if a strategy tester showed brilliant results, real charts behaved differently — and I repeated that cycle.
Phase 1 — Foundation
Core logic design. Fusion of complex oscillators and candlestick patterns. Built from the ground up with a no-repaint design principle. This alone took weeks.
Phase 2 — Filter implementation
Top-timeframe trend filter, volume filter, three-session filter implemented sequentially. Ensuring each filter didn’t interfere with others required maintaining independent logic, the hardest part.
Phase 3 — Automatic TP/SL adjustment
Implemented volatility-driven automatic TP/SL calculation. Added upper/lower limits to prevent losses from abnormal values.
Phase 4 — UI/UX design
Implemented a real-time information panel with draggable movement. A feature to view win rate, RR ratio, and PIPS profit on the chart in real time turned out to be more complex than expected.
Phase 5 — Final validation
Localization of all parameters into Japanese, making it a user-friendly design for beginners. Verified identical behavior in real-time and backtesting to ensure product quality.
