[6/2/USDJPY Scalping Points] Good job everyone!
All right, let's go with USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around the 159.70 level. This morning it started around 159.60, but during the Tokyo session Middle East risk resurfaced and there was a slight dollar-buying bias; however, with intervention risk approaching 160, there’s little room to move... (—this has been the case lately.)
We’re waiting for the next catalyst.
USD/JPY is expected to carry over to the overseas session at roughly the same level as the morning.
Now, the points for tonight's USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements near the London market open around 16:00
● Movements near the New York market open around 22:00 (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movements after the US JOLTS jobs data release at 23:00

Other notes…
・There may be remarks from important figures during trading (21:30 “Hammack: Speech by Cleveland Fed President”)
・Be cautious of headlines related to US-Iran matters
・Be cautious of headlines related to BOJ forex intervention

Tonight’s “1-minute scalping” will target moves around each market open plus the moves after the 23:00 US JOLTS release. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” manage positions according to the theory, there should be no problem. There is some期待 for the 21:30 speech by the US hammack: Cleveland Fed President. Just a little.
Also, the short-only “15-minute scalping” is caught between the renewed Middle East risk and intervention vigilance, so USD/JPY is not moving and it isn’t a time to push positions. Tonight I’d rather focus on a solid 1-minute scalping approach.
Now the overseas session will start shortly!
Because scalping targets small profit margins, it might seem that there are opportunities 24 hours a day, but that isn’t the case. By targeting periods with sufficiently high volatility, you can significantly reduce trading difficulty.
The time periods I target are around the London market open and around the New York market open.
・London market open times (16:00 US daylight time / 17:00 US standard time)
・New York market open times (22:00 US daylight time / 23:00 US standard time)
Even immediately after US data/events are released, volatility increases and opportunities rise. However, in the first few minutes after the release, spreads may widen, so you must trade only after spreads return to normal levels.
Always check the US data/event calendar in advance. Knowing when opportunities will come helps you accumulate profits efficiently.
Also, absolutely avoid positioning just before US data/events releases. If it goes against you, you’ll face heavy losses. Carelessness is unacceptable, absolutely.
US data/event schedules can be checked on the websites of each securities/FX broker.
Of course there are many other points besides these three, but I’ve talked about the essential points to keep in mind when scalping USD/JPY.

Actually… I’ve completely公开 one of my trading methods, the “15-minute scalp,” for free. If it helps even a little, I hope you find it useful. (Completely free, you know.)

Also, on the following page, I’ve published my main trading method, the “1-minute scalping,” so if you’re interested please check it out. (Sorry… this one is paid.)
