Sparkling line example "Let's imitate"
This week, Mr. A drew the lines for me again. Thank you as always.
There are areas where I am less proficient than him, so he’s a good model for a reference.
They call it a sparkling line, but it’s a line that anyone can imitate.
When I see the line I drew stopping perfectly, some people are surprised, but actually anyone can learn to imitate and draw it.
In a sense, it’s an ordinary line.
Since the scenario is drawn based on the line, first you need to be able to draw the line—that’s the basic.
How do you develop that basic skill?
As written in this article →【If you want to succeed, imitate!】
Just imitate, copy, that’s all there is to it.
The story of Umehara, introduced in the above article.
>It’s because I copied how strong players played that I was able to stand at the top level of mahjong within three years after I started taking it seriously.
>He draws tiles and discards tiles. Watching that motion continually was, in a way, like reviewing the answers.
>Whether it matched my thoughts or not, I could confirm each move one by one.
You just need to do the same.
First, draw your own line, then look at the line of someone who’s good (the model line), and verify it. Do the answer-checking.
That’s all there is to learning by imitation.
It’s not difficult at all.
I’ve also uploaded a video explaining how to draw lines, and it explains the rules for drawing.
If the answer doesn’t match, rewatch the video explaining how to draw and confirm it.
There are explanations for common questions about line drawing, such as whether to draw with a “hige” (facial whisker) or with the body, and other such parts.
You don’t draw lines by relying on gut feeling, so anyone can learn to do it.
A person who became able to draw lines learned by initially imitating my lines, and thus became a model.
If you do it, you can; if you don’t, you can’t.
That’s the obvious cause and effect.
You don’t have to imitate me specifically; just find someone skilled and imitate them thoroughly.
