【Warning】 Today the United States is closed (Memorial Day)! To avoid sudden risks, please refrain from trading
[Warning] Today is a U.S. holiday (Memorial Day).
Please absolutely avoid aggressive trading!
Hello to everyone reading the blog. This is FX-Skull.
A new week has begun, but today's market requires special caution.
Today the U.S. market is closed
Today (the last Monday of May) is the United States“Memorial Day”holiday, so the U.S. market will be closed. Britain is also closed for the Spring Bank Holiday.
Why should you refrain from trading on holidays?
When major markets like New York and London are closed, it means the market’s“liquidity (trading volume)” dramatically drops. In such conditions, the following risks increase.
- Spreads tend to widen more than usual
- Technical analysis becomes ineffective, leading to irregular moves
- With less capital, sudden spikes (sharp rises or falls) are more likely
Today’s conclusion: refrain from trading
Entering a directionless, thin market will only raise risk and provide no edge. Our system is designed to eliminate unnecessary losses, but the human side using the system does not need to venture into battle on days with slim chances of winning.
“Rest is part of the market.” Today, take a break from charts and rest, or spend time on what you learned over the weekend about “past chart verifications,” preparing funds and stamina for the significant moves to come tomorrow and beyond!
