From the pink line to the blue line (blue arrow) I was aiming to buy, but I waited for a pullback that never came, and it rose.
If you view the scenario as a forecast, it feels off, but if you think in terms of direction up or down, it went up, so you could say it was correct.
The scenario isn’t a forecast, but does it look that way when you see it in terms of forecast?
I was aiming to ride the upside, but I couldn’t time it.
First, what’s important is the direction you’re aiming for.
To grasp that, you need situational awareness.
If someone who sold USD/JPY yesterday got dragged along, perhaps they lacked situational awareness.
On January 3 of this year, someone who got hit by buying would also have lacked situational awareness.
The direction you’re aiming for had become opposite, right?
If situational awareness had been solid, the direction to aim for would have only been downward.
Even if there’s big profit, there shouldn’t have been big losses.
That’s how importantsituational awareness is.
