I'm a professional trader, any questions? "What does it really mean to use AI in trading?"
For notes, we stripped decorations and reoriented toward “depth as reading material + credibility.”
Sales are naturally landing in the latter part.
Using AI for trading, what does it really mean?
Recently, I received a question from someone who just started FX.
“How should I use AI in trading?”
I think it’s a good question.
The reason is that lately on SNS and YouTube
there are many claims like “you can make money by using AI.”
However, this phrase is actually quite vague.
The way to use AI varies greatly from person to person
When people say they will use AI for trading, there are several purposes in broad terms.
For example,
Let AI take care of everything and generate profits
Have AI create an EA or indicators
Have AI perform market analysis
Have AI teach us trading
Have AI gather news
Have AI make real-time buy/sell decisions
When you line them up like this, you can see that
“Using AI” doesn’t mean you’re doing the same thingat all.
Most people are doing ①–⑤
Much of the information you see online now is
・Automated trading
・Tool development
・Analytical assistance
・Information gathering
This area is focused on.
That is reasonable in itself.
Because this is AI’s strong suit.
But there is one problem with this.
AI alone won’t make “trades that win”
No matter how accurate the analysis is,
where to enter and where to avoid is a different story
This is another matter.
Especially real-time decisions (the ⑥ earlier)
I feel this is still a domain humans should handle.
If you just delegate this to AI,
there are plenty of cases where accuracy drops.
Our approach is a bit different
We use AI not as a tool to replace judgment, but as a
“interactive partner.”
Based on our trading methods,
In other words,
AI analyzes (③)
Humans decide (⑥)
This is the role division.
This arrangement is currently the most balanced.
How we actually use it in the market
For example, the current USD/JPY.
Overall, it’s in an upward channel,
and the flow is continuing from bottom to top.
The yen futures move shows strong yen selling,
so the基本 bias is upward.
From historical patterns as well,
there’s a pattern after Golden Week to rise and peak in summer,
This year may move close to that pattern as well.
Moreover, indicators based on these patterns
show similar upside scenarios.
But the market isn’t simple
On the other hand, there are large options near 159 yen.
In such a situation,
many will think, “then I’ll go short.”
In reality, that judgment itself isn’t wrong.
However,
・Movement of the Chinese yuan
・Overall trend
・Capital flow
When you stack these factors,
the conclusion may be “not the right timing yet.”
Self-study makes this balance difficult
Trading with discretion alone tends to simplify judgments.
“There is an option here → then it’s counter-trend”
But in actual markets,
multiple factors move in combination.
That’s why,
relying on a single factor leads to misalignment.
What changes with AI dialogue
Having AI propose hypotheses reveals perspectives you hadn’t seen.
In this case, AI’s main scenario is skewed toward long bets.
So we examine “why that happens.”
Just having this process greatly changes the quality of judgments.
But there’s a practical problem here
Even with analysis and hypotheses,
・Cannot view while at work
・Timing doesn’t align
・Cannot enter
These problems happen regularly.
Markets tend to move at inconvenient times, after all.
Environment matters, therefore
Back to the point,
what ultimately matters is
“which environment you are in,” not “how you learn.”
Whether you trial-and-error alone,
or you can observe real-time decisions that are already functioning,
this difference is huge.
Supplement
We operate by sharing trading ideas generated through AI dialogue and
the actual entries.
Not just signals,
but a record of “how we thought and why that judgment was reached.”

Summary
・AI usage varies completely by person
・AI for analysis, humans for decision is the balanced approach
・What matters is the environment rather than the method
I believe these are the essentials.
